Pred, 02 Aug 2023Buying a Galaxy Tab S8 was the biggest mistake I ever made ... moreCurrently using Samsung tab s8. The screen indeed give me eyes strain especially in the dark compare to oled screen. But color of the screen pretty great compared to my iphone 11 pro max that have oled screen. Love they move screenshot on their keyboard because I always accidentally pressed it.
But, what I notice is they change the texture of their keyboard cover for S9 line-up. It bit slippery compare to S8. Battery life so far so good for me to use at class.

People like you just like to find things to fuss about. Buy the A9 if that size so important to you 😑😑

Any device that I will use a fingerprint to unlock, that has a side mounted fingerprint reader is a hard pass for me.

Wonder why Samsung or others haven’t thought of this. Possibly there’s a still some challenges to overcome before they make it a reality.

8 inch tablet with side mount fingerprint sensor.
Latest android and one ui.
Dynamic amoled 2x with 379 ppi.
S pen functionality.
Good cameras.
High end processor with 12/256 gb base model and 12/512 mid model and 16/1 tb high end model.
This tablet if ever released by android OEMs then iphone will get really tough competition to it's ipads.
If above mentioned specification android tablet is already out there in some other brand then do forgive me and reply me model name.
It's my suggestion to Samsung to make tablet like that

anandreau, 17 Oct 2023The market requests a Tab S9 Mini. Why do they make big scr... moreThe Tab S9 seems like a mini tablet. With it's small 11" screen. I got a Google Nexus 7 in 2013. I don't even know how I used to use it with it's super tiny 7" screen. The 11" Tab S9 screen seems small now.
But it's also the perfect size for me. For a tablet to use in the bathrooms and bed. And then I use my larger Tab S9+ tablets at a couple of TV viewing locations.

I have three Tab S9 and two Tab S9+ Tablets. They are all wifi only versions. And they all have access to the GPS.
The GPS test app will show all the GPS satellites they can see at that location.

Sid5559, 28 Sep 2023Tab s9 256 ufs storage 4.0 or 3.1 ?Like the S23 line, models with 256GB and up should have UFS 4.0. While the 128GB version should have have UFS 3.1. Since Samsung doesn't make any 128GB UFS 4.0 modules. 256GB is the smallest size.
Plus there are speeds posted for the different storage options. With the 128GB version being the slowest. With the 256GB and higher versions being around 35% faster.
Either way though it's still pretty fast. The only reason my three Tab S9 tablets are the 256GB version, is because it was a free upgrade. Otherwise I would have purchased the 128GB version.
