I have this samsung and galaxy note 2. All my friends want to buy Samsung because of the track record of these two impeccable Samsungs.
These two Samsungs have sold more Samsungs tha some of their best retailers!

The best sizes Android tablet, but sill no replacement, the tablet is now very slow & only 16gb was released in UK.
Hopefully Samsung will release another 10.5" or 11" this year???

I am going into my 4th yr with my Tab S 10.5....SM-T800 WIFI device and I still love it. My laptop been collecting dust since. I am a retired guy and use it for email, web surfing, etc...not a gamer. The display quality is as good as day I bought it....nothing like Super Amoled. If I could have one more GB of ram it would be even better than it already is. Even today, anyone that buys this will be very, very pleased. Using Marshmallow 6.0.1. Heard rumors about getting nougat, just not sure....yet its ok if do not. A big satisfied user and a big fan of this tablet. Never had any issues at all with it.

Tennythe2nd , 11 Jun 2017The tab S has a better display than tab s 3 funny enough.Samsung truly went full out with the display. It's Retina 4K competitive, and I think it's one of the best reasons to own it. Media on this tablet always looks incredible. With a decent set of headphones (my Audio-technicas do nicely) it's a wonderful travel companion, whether flight or field.

Fantastic tablet that I still use to this day. The S3 overshadows it now, but for quite a bit more $$$ too. For the price you'll find it now, it might still be a top 10 contender. Personally, I feel no desire to upgrade anytime soon, though I use it constantly.
The expansion that is possible with Android vs Apple is staggering, as is the screen this device is packing. It's camera is one area it truly shows it's age, but it's serviceable for most applications. The microphone is solid and crosstalk is improved greatly on even the Pro models.
It's light and the speakers aren't the worst, offering competent midrange sound with clear highs and decent, if tinny lows.
The touchscreen is responsive and mostly accurate (about 94% in my experience) and both Samsung and Logitech offer smart, affordable keyboards, turning this rather beastly tab into a viable laptop replacement.
And though other reviewers have criticized the pebbled plastic backing, I find it to be distinct, particularly with one of Samsung's 3 in 1 covers attached.
For price, expandability, features, responsiveness, and (aside from the camera) specs, this is still my go to tablet and one well worth the now reduced asking price.

Good tablet but broke with a flashing screen after 8 months - Samsung repair centre took 3 attempts to fix and all happy until few months later when happened again - another 3 repairs later and they still couldn't fix. Hopeless useless - finally got a replacement from my shop (John Lewis) a tab s2 smaller screen but works fine. Lucky I bought from a shop with good customer service and didn't rely on Samsung!!!

Great tablet of me. LOVE the screencolors and clarity, super thin, and performance is good.
Recently Marshmallow 6.0.1 was pushed to my tablet and works great, after of course shutting off all the bloaty "updates" that restart all the stuff I don't need.
I have the WiFi only version. It has replaced my personal laptop at the house iwth a Logitech keyboard/case. Also use the tablet as a GPS in the car with downloadable Google maps and tethered to my Note 5.
I love this tablet enought that I'm considering picking up an LTE model off of ebay for use with Google Fi.

I bought the tablet Jun/15 in Switzerland, but I use it in Brazil. Normally at home, but travelling once a week about 90 Km to my country lodge with a 14 Km unpaved and rough road access.
I use it daily about 3 hs mostly for reading books and accessing online news. Not any complaints about display, storage or battery and quality overall.
Only wish is some less bloatware on it, it took time to get rid of them. And the ability to replace the battery, when someday it comes close to the end. This I really don't praise.
I updated to 6.0.1 in Nov/16 without any problems.
So I am fully satisfied, think it was a great buy and would buy it again... if it would come with a replaceable battery - or for the same price with more developed capabilities then the actual successors.
