Anonymous, 28 Apr 2023True & there are some cheap portable AM/FM/SW/WS/etc. r... moreYeah but I don't want to carry a bunch of stuff, I prefer to keep my battery radios charged for in case shit hits the fan - FM on phones is still good for if you do not want to carry a bunch of stuff and you just want to simply listen to music without downloading apps and making a bunch of accounts - I hate how unusuable those freemium music apps are with the amount of crap and pop ups on them, they are worse than local FM advertising - Sometimes I go for a jog, so that limits how much i want to carry on me, i already deal with enough carrying wallet and keys

If you can buy this phone, can't you buy a $40 or even less portable AM/FM/SW/WS/more bands.

YUKI93, 09 Apr 2023Please, don't embarrass yourself by saying FM Radio is... moreHe probably just thinks everyone wants to listen to Spotify and Pandora internet "radio DJs", yes jobsites will have a standalone AM FM radio but this phones FM is still handy if you are out and about and cell service goes down or when you want local news or sports without using battery and internet - This phones FM feature was very useful in monsoon season when I was not in my car or at my home where i had a battery powered radio this is good like 9mm flobert gun

Motorola launched the ThinkPhone in Brazil. I hope this forces Samsung to launch the XCover6 Pro in Brazil, because I'm afraid there is no other incentive for Samsung to take that action in that country.

There are still a lot of places with little to no internet coverage, so having an offline radio transmission is still vitally important. If there's RDS functionality, it can even transmit messages. You can't even use Spotify or any music streaming services when offline. 🤦♂️

With this SoC there is no point in putting in more because it would bottleneck anything that would need more than 6gb.
However your logic is very wrong. Virtual ram is not nearly the same as physical ram so you cannot say "12gb of ram".
