Phones good fast and battery life is good. One thing
I just hate so much is the resolution, its pathetic! If
only I can improve the screen resolution and make it more likely my wife's LG OB P970, that would be nice hehe.

My Galaxy y doesn't support Adobe flash ... for this i can't play poker in Facebook... Samsung why didn't u provide this with flash.... every thing is good but DISPLAY COLORS is 256K...i used a lot of phone in my life... from those experiences i find this problem in Galaxy y S5360... the Display Color should be 16M...

Hi all,
The phone is good in this price range its a great value for money,but samsung should work on its battery,the battery needs charging after 7 to 8 hours normal use.

Here is my lil review for da ppl who r still in confuse weather to go for this device or not ...
I bought this mobile 3 days ago... Here is my thoughts ...
good side of this device -
android 2.3.6 out of the box, no need for searchin for lastest firmware...
very very fast user interface
Every features of android run exceptionally well ... like sms , email, talk, livewallpaper, multitasking with over many apps running background ... And still da os feels very fast ...
i m very very impresssed with the call quality, seriously speaking i used galaxy s2 of a frnd of mine to do some phone callin and after using my galaxy y , i can say galaxy y call quality is far better ... Even i myself have nokia e71 , still galaxy y call quality and sound comes of da ear level speaker is just mindblowing awesome ... love doing phonecall with this device.
Sound quality from the back side speakers r preety good too bt still quite low than my Nokia e71.
My frnd who use samsung galaxy SL said galaxy y's OS feels faster than his device ... Yes it is ..
Quadrant benchmark came out ovr 1200+
Really low price for a device like this value
Camera is not good but average, it doesnt look like a 2 mgpx.
very fast bluetooth transfer
Swype works awesomeeely fast widout any issue
Back cover looks and feels classy ...
Build quality is preety good for the price
Games like angry birds run widout any issue.. Preety fast
The battery life really last long if u only use it as a phone purpose and smsing
Very fast web browsing wid u
N many more ....very smooth
Bad side abt this device -
below average battery life ... If u r using lotz of wifi or mobile intenet then u have to chargs the device about 3 tymes a day ... yesterday i downloaded lotz of apps n ran many livee wall and the battery just eaten up preety fast ... Started wid full charge and after continous 2-3hrs of wifi the battery came to 20-30%
The screen colour quality is bad ... a pic taken wid my e71 looks preety colourful on my e71 screen bt da same pic looks quite washed out colours in galaxy y screen :(
Even u can see pixelation if u look closely ...
Pics taken wid gakaxy y camera lacks sharpness and details ... Looks washed out colours
Internal memory is preety low only 180mb ... So u need to be careful ...
Low ram only 290mb ... Da can coz pain in da as§ sumtym and u may xperience a lil lagm .bt after clearing da ram it bcums fast again.
Low talktime only 6hrs :( i dnt knw why it is wrihr gsmarena spec page .. Its compltly wrong... may be the battery wont survive in idle modes also for 17hrs.
The icons in the menu autometically arnages, weather many times u arrange according to ur needs ...
U need to remove the battery for sim change ...

i tried my best to remove the confusion of the ppl who wants to buy
U wont get sucha device at this price range wid sooo smoodth user interface ....
Its like samsung galaxy ace at half the price :D

anand, 12 Jan 2012hi....i request u to solve my prblm....whenever i am about ... moreRemove the memory card after selecting unmount memory card from settings.Then reset the phone.Then insert memory card n format it after selecting unmount memory card.I hope ur problem will be solved.

hrmvga, 11 Jan 2012what's the diffrences b/w galaxy y and galaxy y colour plus... moreno big difference, Samsung Galaxy y has not pre availed additional battery cover but color plus has four additional battery cover.
