Just wondering if this phone with or without the Mango Update will be able to record calls like the Omnia 2 I8000?

Polar Films, 23 Apr 2011OLED seems to be, on the surface, the perfect display technology... morethats aload of rubbish, ive had this 6 months now and my screen is perfect.. you also have the option of choosing different colours for the tiles/apps you know.. even though mines been blue all along and my phone is turned on 24/7, since january which is around 5000 hours so far. its the easiest and best phone ive ever used. ive had afew androids and iphones but this blows the competition away, it will even more when wp7 bring the new update out

Milos, 01 May 2011Can I watch youtube video clips on this phone ? Also, can I set ... moreyou can watch youtube and some websites have video playing ability. Own wallpaper is available to be used, and easy download of nearly any picture on the web. you can customise music, but only of the pre listed songs that they have, all of which are not bad. they may be bringing in personal songs with the next update, but not sure

Savvas, 11 May 2011I would buy it but ... no SD card? And internal capacity of only 16G?There is no support for SD card, as one of the limitations of WP7 is to not have any SD cards.
The internal memory of this phone is only 8 GB.

I would not recomend this phone as it has Windows Phone 7. I would recomend that you instead have a look at Samsung Wave 2 with bada OS. It is a very nice phone.

Wonder why Samsung didn't released the Omnia7 "worldwide".

A lot of country hasn't seen this device. If you're planning on getting it, buy it online.

Totally agree with nimo.

Simply a fun-tastic fone. Full of life, looks and feels great. WP7 will soon be a different OS. Am impressed beyond words.

GCassa94, 22 Apr 2011I'm in love with this pfone but I read that super amoled's blue ... moreOLED seems to be, on the surface, the perfect display technology, there are some problems. First of all, even though the red and green LEDs have long lifetimes of 10,000 to 40,000 hours, the blue component suffers high failure rates after about 3,000 - 5,000 hours. It is believed at this time that with refinements in manufacturing technology, this limitation can be overcome fairly quickly, but as it stands now, the entire screen's life is limited by the blue LEDs' life. Also, as of this writing, manufacturing processes are expensive. But like everything else, cost is a direct result of yield. As experience is gained manufacturing these devices, the cost will come down just as it did with LCD. Finally, the OLED matrix is easily damaged by water. Without some way to seal the display in a waterproof outer covering, a spilled soft drink could spell curtains for the display.
