Symbios, 04 Nov 2010Sajad, Soulchild Sajad said he is going for the HTC Desire HD!symbios, hahaha bro i got nokia n8. u know why coz htc desire hd is still not available in india. i was not able to wait so go the n8. but i m not happy at all. u know why,coz i purchased this phone only coz of 2 reasons. 1 was the xenon and 2nd was the v reasonable price. but when i tested the xenon in v poor light conditions it took my breath away. u know what it is f...k.i.n..g weak. my frnd's n82 is xtremely powerful in xenon section than this bull shit, but thank god my brother in law agreed to purchase it from me when htc desire hd will arrive in india. so if any one wants to know anything about n8, i m ready to help. u can ask anything. like usb on the go, fm transmitter, browser cam etc etc. and one more thing my eyes r also on samsung galaxy s 2 like soulchild. so i will wait for 1 more month

this phone is a complete garbage..it hANGS up all the time,freezes.no dought the display is gr8,but overall this phone is annoying..never invest a penney on this phone...

My... moreI am very disappointed that my bestfriend doesn't notice how dumb it is to move from a beast like the Omnia HD to a kitten like the iPhone 4.... It almost brought tears to my eyes but some ppl just follow hype instead of using their common sense!
I want the Nokia n8 so badddddd and i refuse to sell my Omnia HD to get it, i rather wait till i have the cash! That how much i have grown attached to this phone! But to go from this to an iPhone 4 is criminal!

My bestfriend is tired of his Omnia HD 16Gb mainly because it runs Symbian and is planning on moving to the........ iPhone 4...... [that is like the dumbest thing i have ever heard].... but anyways its up for sale and he is asking US$300.00 for it [notice how far US$300 is from the actual price of an iPhone 4].... so are there any interested buyers? Can somebody tell me does SPB Shell drains a lot of battery? I have n2o3 and my battery life is about 36h. It is on 50% after 24h and then it drops in 6-12h to flat...

OmniaHD will only let yu down in the lack of third party apps, outdated OS and zero samsung support, but apart from that insignificant stuff, its the best multimedia device available!
The Nokia N8 will only let you down in the lack of third party apps, lack of a competitive OS, no video light and screen size! But if you can look past those shortcomings then you have a device which rivals the OmniaHD in multimedia features!
The choice is yours, and im not sure if this will help your decision, but there are custom firmwares available for your OmniaHD which make it alot better abd there will soon be some for the N8!

bodi, 31 Oct 2010I think i8910 is better than n8 in all aspects except the... moreI disagree with that statement! The Omnia can't be outclassed by any device but it isnt better than them! The sound quality on the N8 is much better than the i8910 and when i say sound quality i'm talking but crisp and clear vocals balancesd bass and no distortions whatsoever! But the i8910 is a bit louder than the N8! As for the camera and the flash, thats dependant on the user, if the user is spontaneous and needs to capture many unique moments xenon wont be his choice, but for someone a bit more subtle xenon is the ideal choice! The i8910 may have a larger display but Nokia N8 perfected the flaws of the i8910 display in terms of sunlight legibility and touch response! the N8 has better HD recording algorithms and web rendering algorithms, the addition of multitocuh makes it a better gaming and user friendly device! The i8910 is the best multimedia device in the market to date, since there is no device which supports as many formats and plays them so loud and beautifully! I prefer watching HD movies on my i8910 than my laptop any day! But the facts are the facts and i have no intention of parting ways with my Omnia HD but the Nokia N8 is an upgrade of sorts!!

I just got back as well! I see most in here are either talking bout new firmware for the OmniaHD or which phone will be a good upgrade! Galaxy S 2 sounds interesting though, but i decided that i'll be upgrading to the Nokia N8. My decision is both of personal taste and local marketplace. Our Omnia is second to no device but i'm having a hard time getting it sold, where as when i owned the Nokia n80 n n95 8GB i sold them in no time! So i am going with the Nokia N8 since i know when the next "must have" device hits the market i can easily get rid of it and upgrade. The Galaxy S, Iphone 4, HTC Desire HD will stay in my hand a rot before someone from Saint Lucia buys it from me LOL!! Not saying they are bad phones but they are not popular! Plus i wanna be one of the first ppl to experience the new symbian when the updates start rolling out :)

Hey yall, whats up? Whats new? What did I miss? I no you guys have not seen me in here for a bit, but I still have my phone and am using HX V8.
Am waiting to see if this thing about the new GalaxyS 2 will come to light. If it is for real than it will be worth the money for the upgrade. I think it does not make sence for me to spend hundreds of dollars for a phone that does just a little bit more than my phone. So am waiting for the GalaxyS 2 or what next year has to offer.
