SAJAD, 07 Nov 2009no i didnt,i just found that app there and thought to infor... morenope.. not used it.. has anyone else tried hellOx? or even python?
and another thing.. i tried using the SmartCam 1.4 instead of mobiola..

it worked well initially.. but then when i fiddled around with the settings, it got hung and i had to force shut it using the task manager. from then on, every time i started the app, i couldnt access the settings menu at all.. even if i uninstalled and installed the app again, it would get stuck if i tried opening the settings menu..
i even tried version 1.3 :

this one is meant for s60v5 (the previous 1.4 version which i was talking about was apparently for s60v3) and this one didn't start at all!!
can anyone try these (or has anyone tried these)? please help!

Im from bombay ... moreOnce again Jai you wud be surprised to know that whatever questions u cud possibly think of...therz a high probability that they have already been answered in this forum. You cud make use of the search option at the bottom of the page where you can type the keyword u r lukin for and u'll get much information on that.
For eg. the size issue. Rohit & myself had discussed about size a few dz bak. As below for ur reference:

Again to let u know that both of us are 6 feet+ so have no problems in operating the set single handedly.You have to see where u stand as per ur comfort From my point of view....its real sleek man..real sleek compared to a 17.5 mm Nokia N82 which I carried so long SO HAPPILY in my pocket (I now wonder, how did I manage that :).
Anywz..I advise again...read as many pages of this forum as you can...u'll get loads of information & ideas

Do not get excited about lesser prices that other people post here. Even I am from Mumbai and I had already posted a comment a few dz bak about Indian prices (which is as below for your reference):

So if someone bought it at Rs 256000 (@4.5% VAT) from outside Mumbai then at 12.5% VAT that price approx.works out to be Rs. 27560 which is an ok deal (In Mumbai). But I can tell u that if u research well and are a good bargainer u can get it for as low as Rs.26500. I bought it at 27K and it was a good bargain (Advice: Do not buy from Malls or Croma type showrooms; they are stupidly overpricd & won't budge qouting fixed prices- But go to a proper big proved & dependable Retail shop where they give it at a lesser margin. You'll find pleanty in Mumbai. Can you imagine "Mobile Store is still trying to sell it for 31K (LOL) and have started phasing it out citing reasons that it is not in demand- Ridiculus- Why shud I buy from them if I can get it for 26K from other respectable shops ? Same with Planet M & Croma (with little price differences)
Baaki you could alwz ask a frnd living outside Mumbai to buy one for u at lesser VAT. Depends how easy or difficult you want it to be.

i was having nokia n95 8gb,and if i have to give points out of 100 to these phones for the loudness and clearity,i will give omnia hd 75 points and nokia n95 65.coz omnia has much better speakers than n95,even its bass is more than n95.there is only 1 phone whose speaker deserve 100 points and that is nokia 7710,v old model.

ya ram u can backup all ur contacts from e90 to omnia,u know wat my previous phone was e90 same like u.u just have to baup ur contacts on ur memory card then through samsung pc suite u have to transfer them to omnia hd

from what i understand you have owned both the nokia n95 and the samsung omnia hd...
i was just wondering if you could tell me which one has better loudspeaker loudness and clarity when listening to songs ?
because i own the n95 which is amazing and the only thing holding me back from updating to this phone is the loudspeakers.

its 'b task man' its v. beautiful,it has features like close,close all,close all exceptions,kill,quick start[my fav.],installed apps,search and start,recently visited,memory status,auto start,etc. but quick start and kill r my fav. when u press and hold the menu 'b task man' appears instead of omnia hd task man which has only one function [just to show the open apps]and when it is started it shows the open apps with there little icons,a QUICK START icon is showed at the bottom and in the quick start u can customise ur 12 fav. apps including the installed apps,when u press the quick star app ur 12 fav. apps appears with there small and beautiful icons and u can click on any of them to start,remember its more quicker than the default task man of omnia an it only consumes only 15 kb of ram
