Hey, Anonymous, or other guys from India, can you pleazzzz upload a little video on Youtube about your i8910 HD running Hummingbird 1GHz???? I really really want to see it. All I'm looking for r 2 things:
1)As u mentioned, Anonymous, that it should say Hummingbird 1GHz right on the box
2)Install an app that shows your hardware specs

don"t worry in a day or so u will be able to get it and dude im sure and can write on stamp paper that for the one whose has used touch screens earlier will very this one alot responsive..
but do checkout that box should have written 1Gz...

its only in india that samsung has launched with omnia hd with 1ghz processor speed..checkout box before u get from any store..

Mr.Bigtime, 15 Aug 2009I tested this on the store..it is a FAIL. i have NOKIA E71... morei think maybe u should get an iphone instead of nagging about the HD touch screen..i8910 and iphone are two different thing and technology ok..i think i8910 is way better than iphone and im sure everybody will agree on that.

I checked my local stores too,and the Omnia PRO is available but the HD not. It's because of the high price of the phone. Doesn't matter,it will be definitely available in the stores from this week.

Its Not launched in india yet... ive been trying to buy one, checked all over mumbai, no one has the phone.. even tried the samsung store in hydreabad(the only samsung IT lifestyle store in india).. even they dont have it. i donno how u guys say its launched??? and if it has tell me where can i buy one. thanks

iPhone iPhone. Why does everybody say iPhone. Honestly I'm an Apple user for more than 10 years but I still think that the iPhone is ok but I dont talk about it like its the King of phones. In fact most of its technologies are quite back dated. Yes the touchscreen is good, the browsing good but other than that I cant find anything else that its good as compared to the Omnia HD. Some people mentioned that it good to have a metal bodied phone not as plasticky as pure plastic. But is the iPhone made from all metal. Plastics has it good points too its light, flexible and is inexpensive to change. Unlike metal where once it hits the ground it gets dented and paint will be scratched. I know this s I'm also still using my Innov8. It cost alot to change the casing.

The omnia hd is the best phone i have ever owned what more could a phone need it records video in hd has a massive 3.7 amoled screen, 8mp camera 3.5 audio jack 8gb internal memory and to top all of it runs on symbian os not windows mobile. I would be hanging on to this phone for a while it has everything i ever needed in a phone and then some and it only cost me $850 australian dollars.

I've had the phone for over a week now. At first it was slow and buggy. I updated the firmware to the Hong-Kong IG3 and the phone is faster, more responsive and battery lasts all day and then some. I even hacked the phone so it accepts apps from Nokia's Ovi store cause it behaves like a N97. The good thing is that there is room for more improvement with future updates. the phone already performs great and with the new widgets and apps that will be released soon... along with the firmware tweaks... will make this monster #1 for a good while.

Battery would last about two days and half in normal usage, (saying 1 hour of talking via 2G network some hours to listen to your music and a bit watching, shooting and playing the asphalt4 )per day.
Unfortunately, the audio problem didnt fixed out of the box, my current firmware is: (jvif6), date:17/06/2009, custum version is: (othrig1), dated: 10/07/2009.
I didnt check for the update yet but will tell you ASP.
But overall im happy with it and i can live with that poor amr audio, cause i heard fixing the audio will result in poor video frame rate.
Currently the video quality is awesome(knok the wood)LOL.
The other disadvantage is a bit low audio out through headphones and lower bass comparing to decent mp3 players. But i could live with it.

Im happy with my HD even though the audio recording is not fixed out of the box(didnt check for the new firmeare yet)
No idea about the satio I heard its a good phone but not HD recorder and no amoled display if im not mistaken.
I cant even imagine buying a next lcd phone.lol
