Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Do you think I want to look at all these Nokia specs. The problem is the size. Too thick. It is a brick.

the L.E.D light/flash is made of neon/white krypt, which means it uses less energy (battery power) and you can use it as a torch feature. when switched ON it shines a powerful bright white light for 8.4m!! now thats incredible compared to duracell maglight which only shines at 4m!! a very powerful light indeed! (if only they can use the same technology in handheld torches)

I hope there is a market place to download apps and games unlike the other samsung phones that T-Mobile picked up. It may be a great phone based on the features but until it comes out no one will know how it will compare to the IPhone 3G or the G1.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970In that case Motorola invented the cell phone that we are all blabbing about. Whats your point? What if SONY invented it, IDOU doesn't have it. period. In any case please post the source that SONY invented OLED. As far I know it was invented by Eastman Kodak Company.

In case you don't know Samsung SDI is the world's largest OLED manufacturer, producing nearly every 1 in 2 OLED displays made in the world.

It was the first company in the industry to develop and manufacture AMOLED displays and has the world's largest market share in both Passive Matrix OLEDs (PMOLED) and Active Matrix OLEDs (AMOLED). They are the largest owner of AMOLED technology patents as well. Do a little wiki and you will know.

Anonymous, 24 Mar 2009okay! Let me decide the Omnia HD and SE Idou war for you... morelol, stupid comparison, 1000mah is not the official bat..

it like samsung omnia in mwc, it uses 1200mah, while in the final version it will be using 1500mah..

dont be stupid, you cannot destroy the image of idou by just saying that kind of things..

i like omnia because of its features,(oled, capacitive, etc) but idou is a camera phone, it has xenon flash, better lens, higher pixel..

the two are different, omniahd focus more one the features, the os, the applications, movies..

while idou is for taking pictures, walkman, and also watching movies..

Jamal, 24 Mar 2009If they keep on increasing screen size, by 2015 we will be ... moreif this thing has xenon flash and a 3.5 screen (3.7 is too big, the phone is too big)

                      okay!

Let me decide the Omnia HD and SE Idou war for you :)

                      Only one word: battery !

                      1500mAh vs. 1000mAh

SE did it again - they are so incompetent that it hurts.

Of course there are some other facts. But the battery should decide by itself.

1000mAh battery can not even make one day decent use.

Of course, SE decided the Li-Po battery, which looks good but they having nothing but trouble with it for long time now.

And there will be about 6 mo difference between the release also.
6 mo in phone business is for ever.

So I think there is no point to even compare.

(and we all know about SE greed ;) - I estimate about 30-40% price difference)

If they keep on increasing screen size, by 2015 we will be walking around with huge 17 inch displays next to hour ears.
3.5 should be the limit, samsung is just overdoing with this 3.7 display.

I like the omnia hd. Its look nice. users like myself is not just looking for a camera phone but one with lots of features. S.E Idou should realise that people are not only after pixel and flash but usability too.

Anonymous, 23 Mar 2009this phone is not coming out with WM 6.5. http://www.unwire... moreIt is good to know that Samsung is not bringing the i8910 with a WM 6.5. I am waiting for the HTC Firestone, or wait until WM 7 comes out. It is a hardball.

Wow! Thank you Microsoft. That's the update for 2009. I can do that. I guess I will have to wait until Summer 2010. 2009 belongs to HTC.

This phone is the best i've seen yet. it is fully loaded with all the latest features...truly amazing. i am a Nokia fan but as stated by numerous persons that am in accordance with Nokia never rolls the ball to the centre. If the cam specs are high the memory drops and vice versa. They never balance the equation. this is a beautiful phone hands down. My view is that Samsung is leading the race at this present time not even the N97 comes close to this beauty. As for the SE idou simply put OVERRATED. Its pushing a 12.1 thats about it. Am not impressed by its features nor style.
