i just got my galaxy s and its very nice phone but i have a battery problem its only last 1 day,is there any solutions?thanks 4 the help.

I want to buy this phone and current firmware version is 2.3.3 which comes with the phone.
But some forum talks about battery drain issue with this firmware.Any inputs on this?

hi ppl, need yr help.
my SGS bought a month ago, all of sudden stopped ringing. it only vibrates now for any call, msg or alarm. all settings seems to be in place. i dnt know whats wrong. can anybody help me on this?. regards.

purchased galaxy-s in june 2011
phone suffers hardware problem within 2.5 months.
lying at service center for last 12 days.
no response from the company.
if theres any concern for user, company shud replce the defective handset with new.
is this, what u call as quality or world's best phone?

i m on froyo 2.2.. will upgrade to 2.3.3 erase all my apps and music that i already have on my internal ad card? (i have no exteenal mem card)

Hi,
Brought this phone yest'day..its really owesum.
I have few questions:
1.My phone has 2.3.3 how can i upgrade it to 2.3.4.
is 2.3.4 an official update frm samsung?
2.Any tips to improve the battery life apart frm using 2G,wifi,bluetooth off.

I bought it but it needs a wifi connection to download as its such a large.file. All the revews I read were pretty much saying how great it is. I played Asphalt 5 demo and that was fine. Played it on the tv steering with the phone.....so I later bought Asp 6 then found out it needs wifi. There aren't that many games at the market that I would play/buy. Raging thunder 2 is a great raging game with no lag, also turbo fly 3d is quite goog....which is like a low quality wipeout for only £1.60. Turbo fly gets really fast...no lagging. I'm on froyo 2.2 btw. Also I have roughly about 95 apps/games. (I have lots of free/demo games I need to delete). Although personally the two games I mentioned, and asphalt6 will suit me if I get to download it.( Not sure what you were asking about apps, I have adobe reader installed(free) and adobe flash player 10.3 (free)...apps to sd card(free)...and a you tube downloader (free) and others.....plus manymord the phone comes with.

Especially heavy 3D games, like Asphalt 6, and NFS Shift, and Assassin's Creed HD (and other Gameloft games)? I read that the 16GB internal memory is not formatted in ext format, which causes the phone to lag a lot. If I install a lot of apps, will there be any lag? I am used to my iPod Touch, so will it be as fluid as that? Or will I have to install a lag fix? I do not want to void my warranty, and especially not on a Samsung device.

If u are sure there is an update available. Ayway, make sure u backup your stuff before in the phones settings. And maybe lookout for "back up" apps on market.

My sgs doesnt lag like u mention. Only lags when it starts up, and i have about 14 "extra" widgets/shortcuts on the homescreen so no big deal.
I was able to see the good side of my nokia after the sgs, like the automatic download of podcasts, and the low mega byte consumption when on you tube etc, and nice speakers. However the sgs is awesome though...no lag like the 58, awesome on the web, and i am finding more and more apps for improvement of the phone.
