Hi guys i have samsung wave 1 and i want to move to Android, but i have only one question, can i download collins english-english dictionary from the Android market. i dont wanna any other dictionary. if its yes i'll be Android fanboy.

akash, 25 Jul 2011whenever i connect wifi while connecting it wil show obtain... morethis is not the problem with the phone just check ur wifi modem settings and disable the mac address authentication thats all u get connected k

I did the upgrade to 2.3.3 gingerbread this past weekend with the latest samsung kies version available through samsung South-Africa using windows 7 ultimate,everything went smoothly and all my contacts,videos.photo's etc are still in tact,my Galaxy S-I9000 is much faster and smoother,no lagging and i can defenately confirm that gingerbread also improved the battery life,with the upgrade i love this phone even more...

You must find out from your local Samsung supplier if the latest Samsung Kies file is released. Or on your local website. Like Samsung.co.??
In South Africa it is .za in Aust it is .au in NewZealand it is .nz
From this latest file it is easy as pie, just click and follow straight forward instructions, like proceed.
This whole exercise should take about only two minutes and under build number you will see Gingerbread
But you must have the LATEST Kies file

I want to upgrade my Galaxy S phone firmware from android 2.2 Froyo to android 2.3 gingerbread or 2.3.3 or 2.3.4 any gingerbread version that has been released by Samsung.
But since I'm from middle east, I connect my mobile phone through Samsung Kies using many versions (v1.5 and v2.01) and the program tells me there is no update found, so what can I do to get gingerbread?
please any one who upgraded his mobile phone or flashed it with custom rom tell me what to do.
It is the 4th week for me using the galaxy S.
So I need someone to tell me an easy step by step what to do to get android 2.3 gingerbread (The offical one by samsung) and what will I lose if I installed custom roms knowing that I haven't done anything with the original software nor I didn't root it. (Nothing is done with the software so if there a step before upgrading please share it with me), Can I install the samsung official update for the firmware to make my phone 2.3 or there are some firmwares that are not released by samsung which can do the same job.
I need some one to tell me which upgrade should I go for it the official one by samsung or another one, because I don't know and I'm new is the android world

AnonD-14818, 24 Jul 2011which is better when compared with ACESgs is better. Look at the specs. Better all round. The galaxe ace is a mid range phone, the sgs is a top of the range smartphone.

Sorry my good man, but the i8910 HD doesn'... moredude here i can say that u r right i've viewed whole comparison and u've said that i'm getting confused with "heavy post processing" of i8910 and here i will say that i8910 is really really amazing camera for me.. i've bought a digital camera of SONY 10 megapixel and that was totally dead in front of i8910 omnia HD camera, the pictures taken by i8910 look really really amazing..
