To all dear brilliant smartphone user,
Christmas is around the corner, I wish to get a smartphone like Samsung Galaxy S or HTC Desire for myself. However after I did tones of search from the internet(website eg CNnet, gsm, techradar,...) & youtube too; and I found out these 2 phone (probably)are the best smartphone available in the market. Despite the smartphone manufacturer devoted their great effort and delivery their master piece to the consumer, the controversy of their final products still remained. SO I ASK, among these 2 smartphones which one do you guys think is good for my income Christmas present.

I also experience lag after update to froyo.
Can anyone tell me how to do clean install on Froyo or any other way to sortout the lags as the phone became terribly slow and laggy after updating to Froyo.

I want a Samsung Galaxy S with Froyo out of box and its camera with LED flash (at least) or Xenon flash. If so, I would go for it for sure.

wat i... moreWhen you root the phone it allows you to install virtually any application or program.
If you try and download some apps and install them some say you CANNOT install it. Rooting it leaves to you free to do anything with your ROM. like install a cooked ROM.
its harmless and with z4root installed you can UN root it back to factory specs. and not lose your warranty.,

upgraded to Froyo finally through the dealer.. and .. WOW!! it's a whole new device for me. Froyo runs fast and clean, performance boost.. baterry life is better, lots of tweeks and add ons.. i just love it!!

z4root is available FREE on Market.
type in z4root in search
after rooting your SGS then go to Market and search for lagfix. then install that.
This is assuming you already have Froyo.

Hey Guys!!!!!
I want to ask 2 questions to the ones who are using Galaxy S for a pretty long time. My first question to u is that whether the Galaxy S can capture better pics in a low light condition since it lacks a flash light and my second question is about the battery life of the phone. Now the reason that i am asking u questions on the battery life is just because i think a phone with such a huge screen size may consume a descent amount of power from the battery.

I want to answer some of your queries like there is a question about data transfer via USB not getting fast it's because the galaxy s has a latest version of USB whereas the system that most of you are using is v2.0 compatible. Now u may ask me how the hell do u come to know about that. Answer is very simple check the model no of ur motherboard and ensure whether the USB hub on the motherboard is v2.0 or v3.0 if it is not a USB v3.0 then kindly upgrade ur motherboard to a v3.0 then u can observe that the data transfer will be much better than ur present one.

I had synced fb and gmail before(contacts and calendar)..........i removed the contacts and calendar from being synced bt still wen i try 2 send group msg(20 msg at a time) it shows all the names(from both fb and gmail)......how can i stop it from being shown...........also disabled from contacts(unticked view contact from fb)..........any have a solution????
