Has anyone has this problem with Galaxy S: It lags when using it while it is being charged for battery.

    i got this phone for 3 months now, and very satisfied with the performance. Got update to Froyo just 3 weeks ago via KIES.
    However, I experienced a bit problem when upgrading from Eclair to Froyo, the phone became terribly slow and laggy, but then i decided to do clean install on Froyo, and....Excellent! The battery runs longer, no more lag and have adobe flash enabled.
    The camera is so so... but enough to capture your special moment...last week, i brought this phone on my vacation on the beach, got splash and dirt but the phone still OK.
    Nothing is perfect, it is just how you manage your expectation.

        I got my galaxy vibrant from bell yesterday, but after I upgraded to 2.2 the samsung marketplace doesn't work. The andriod market place still work but it says that the mobile phone is not support by samsung apps on Kies. There are only two apps available to install in the samsung apps on my phone

              [deleted post]I am not commenting on your other points. But let me assure you that I switch on my phone's flash 90% of the times to click a photo. And if you have an N8 which has a digital cam quality xenon flash, let me assure that number would go to 100%. If you can't appreciate a feature, doesn't mean it's not worth it!

                        As you say you transfer videos on your fast 3.0 bluetooth. Does your laptop even have bluetooth 3.0? If not, then the fast 3.0 gets changed to normal bluetooth 2.1 or 2.0.

                            guys thinking to buy this phone.....have seen mixed reviews of the same on the net plus heard that samsung phones are spoiled really fast specially toch screen one's, I love this phone bust still should i go for it ???

                                The screen and video clarity is amazing. I download YouTubes send them to phone via bluetooth 3.0 FAST.

                                My boss has iphone4 and he as stunned at the clarity of the screen on SGS. and the screen is 4.0 inches

                                The camera I don't use much but is adequate.

                                The speaker could be better. The best Samsung was the i8510 with dual speakers. awesome sound.

                                but what I do with SGS is use Jabra 620 bluetooth headseat and the sound is awesome.

                                I love Android after havign a WinMo Omnia (slow) and before that a Symbian. phone.

                                What is good is Android keeps getting better and better.

                                You don't even have to wait for Samsung, Just go to XDA forum.

Also, the loudness of the speaker is pretty decent (at least better than my n-72..When I bought the phone, I even dint know how android works but just after a month, I find it better than any other os..

                                    I own SGS for a month now. Have used it on both eclair and froyo platform. Have compared it with several phones available in India. I can tell you that the only problem with this phone is lagging which has been improved with froyo and will probably be done away with gingerbread (or more customized froyo).

                                    As far as multimedia goes, the phone is awesome. I dont know how good N-8's camera is, but I can tell you everyone around me was stunned with the quality of SGS camera. The camera delivers excellent performance both in low light conditions and bright sunlight (tested myself). Of course, watching videos is where SGS beats every single phone. Music quality is awesome(compared to I-touch 3g)

                                    If you talk about looks, let me tell you very clearly N8 looks like crap when compared to SGS. Plastic or not, the front view of this phone is mind- blowing, only the back portion looks bit bad but still better than N8. I dont know if you have seen both these handsets or not, but this is what I felt.

                                    And as for gaming, again this phone beats every single phone (other than I phone)

                                    I personally dont find any uses of the 'superior functions' that N8 possess and so would advice you to go for this phone.

                                      Updated to Froyo. Run z4root and OCLF for the lag fix issue. Now the mobile is really fast and very less lag. I think it is the best phone in market today.
