But HTC desire don't have secondary cam for... moreI agree that a secondary camera for video-calls should be considered standard on a high-end top phone like Desire, but I have never used it and do not think I will use it before it is time for an upgrade to a newer phone. Both LED-flash AND secondary camera should be standard on a phone today, just like STEREO FM-radio and a minimum screen resolution of 480 x 800 pixels,especially on expensive phones like GAlaxy S IPhone4 Desire and N8. And it is ofcourse a minimum that the software that the phone is designed for in turn is designed for the phone, Kies schould work without problem on any Windows-OS. And gps-should not say "you are here", 500 kilometers from where I really am, if it can not connect to satellites or triangulate my position via gps-network using a-gps. And stereo FM-radio should not be mono only when you listen to it.

Anup, 08 Sep 2010I haven't heard anyone complaining about 3gs without flash ... moreI did NOT change to Desire because Galaxy S has no flash, and I can live without a flash, that is why I bought Galaxy S, but since I have made the switch to Desire I have noticed how good a flash really is. Today a single led-flash is considered a minimum on a top expensive phone and it would have been so easy to install one on Galaxy S, even IPhone4 has learned that a flash is standard on a phone today 2010.
Desire is a better alround phone, and having a flash is a part of making it more "alround" so it can be used in almost every situation. To pay for a camera-phone but not being able to use it to take pictures of your friends or of your children at home or on some activity that is not in brightest dayligt is not ok. Cameraphones are not for taking pictures with professional quality, but not having a flash makes the camera in the expensive high-end phone like Galaxy S unusable. Led is not perfect but it atleast makes a picture with more to see than just nothing but a black screen
Again, I did NOT switch to Desire because of the flash, I canged because of all the other problems with Galaxy S.

However, having an LED flash still beats ... moreI haven't heard anyone complaining about 3gs without flash as a problem, we are not trying to hide the fact that flash doesn't exist but we are telling you that we have considered more about features that this phone provides rather than flash, also a guy if he is desperate to buy a phone that had flash he should go for it not buy it and complain about it.just read the past comments I made,i boldly talked about battery life and luckily for me I had nt had any problems with kies/gps(which I rectified with a youtube video)/any other things.for me even camera provides a gud shot,i have even put up photo in facebook. I do accept during party or bar u can't take photo of ur friends but if u r a party type guy then why but it and then accuse. I

Wrong forum.... But HTC desire don't have secondary cam for video calls... In future u may do require to make video calls... Desire will let u down there. ... SGS is a good choice compared to desire... LED flash naaah its not a big deal compared to secondary cam....

I just can't believe how the tide just turn in 1 year's time. Everyone was saying how bad iPhone 3gs was without flash, and now we got a bunch of fans saying how useless LED flash is.
In terms of overall camera performance,
Pixon12 > Desire > Galaxy S
Samsung and Galaxy S screwed up on this aspect, so please stop saying how SGS is the best whatsoever. It does well in certain aspects, but it also performs badly in some aspects too. So, phones like N8 still has its edge against SGS.
I just dislike it when fanboys just keep praising how good their phone is, and not being honest with some of its flaws too. This will really influence and mislead consumers. When the phone lacks something, just be frank in this forum and let everyone know, instead of saying "It's useless, we do not need it."

I bought his set and tried it for a day before taking it back. It takes very long to boot. The phone lags very quickly. No real multitasking and NO FLASH in the browser.

Still even after a month from release people say about LED Flash,for the final time people flash is not available and if u find it impossible to do away with flash dont buy this phone.
Also with/without LED flash is almost the same........Some morons might say anything to show off their ignorance. Let me tell u people if u really want to kno wat a flash feels like try Xenon flash vs LED flash comparison and find out. Dont believe ignorant people. Nothing can outdo xenon's performance. LED flash can b only used for very nearby photography but it 2 cant provide the daylight clarity. U can c dark marks throughout the foto. Try for urself and dont let any words enter ur mind and alter change
We havent bashed any1 we just stated that iphone when it had no flash back in 2009 no1 complained and when it lacked a lot features that existed in many low end mobiles nobody dared to speak or kept mum but when anyother company does the thing they r lit in fire with it. Y is that? Also I am not a fanboy I had used Satio and the flash in it cant be compared to any LED flash. In my opinion LED flash is not even upto 5% of Xenon's power.

Anup, 08 Sep 2010For me the battery under heavy use lasts less than a day. D... moreFor me I don't use location services, background data or auto sync and only leave the phone on 2g all the time. If i need to use anything i turn it on then when finish turn it off its just like leaving your car lights on when not driving. I might even turn my auto email off and just check myself when I need too.
