Also with/without LED flash is almost the same........Some morons might say anything to show off their ignorance. Let me tell u people if u really want to kno wat a flash feels like try Xenon flash vs LED flash comparison and find out. Dont believe ignorant people. Nothing can outdo xenon's performance. LED flash can b only used for very nearby photography but it 2 cant provide the daylight clarity. U can c dark marks throughout the foto. Try for urself and dont let any words enter ur mind and alter change

Am a new user to the galaxy s family I down loaded facebook for it but It doesnt seem to have the chat option like iphone where u can chat live to yr friends but accidentally I clicked on notifications and I saw at the bottom right hand of the screen friends on line and one of my friends was trying to chat to me but it wasnt working properly can some one help me out here asap?

Why are you saying that galaxy is better ?
Galaxy S uses a lot of battery so it fast make a low battery.
Lagy and bugy OS
No costum roms and etc.

It seems that Samsung comes up "every week":P with a another smashing gadget! I am from Romania and i have just bought one! It is really ok. The interface is quite unique. The guys from Htc should learn more from Samsung;

It is us geeks that bothers about those hardware specs. Casual users don't understand those specs. What they really care is if the phone screen is sensitive, if the camera is good. This is why N8 can appeal to lots of people.

I don't know which part of the globe you are from, but being an HTC user for nearly 4 years now, I can tell you one thing: If you live in India, watch out for HTC after-sales service. They are awful! I had an HTC touch which kept switchin off by itself. I visited the service centre (the only one in my metropolitan city) and they -- in front of me -- 'reset' the device and gave it back saying, "It will be alright now".. Ridiculously laughing, I then asked them to check it properly.. They told me that they would reinstall the OS and they asked me to come in a day's time; I did. A day later, my mobile started acting funny. Phone still kept switching off by itself. I took it back to the service centre stating that I am experiencing the same problem despite an alleged "OS Reinstallation".. Without even examining the phone he took the phone in his hand and told "PCB gone.. It will cost 80% of the phone cost (which abt a year back was close to 10k)." Mind you -- I was able to locate the virus on my mobile phone and I was able to delete it but still they claim that the PCB's conked. Funny, eh? HTC makes good phones-- no doubt. But, after-sales service is a little something to look out for especially if you live in India. IMHO, Samsung service is more geographically spread than compared to HTC's. If after-sales service is not something that bothers you, go for Desire; Else, I would strongly recommend SGS! It's a beauty!

my galaxy s is not working with kies software.It... moreI have win7 ultimate. 1st I start the KIES from PC and then connect the phone through USB. Then it connects correctly.
Also notice that if you want to synchronize your Outlook contacts with the phoe, you will have to run both programs as "administrator". For the KIES you can do it by right click, etc. For Outlook in WIN7 you have to press SHIFT plus Right vlick in order to get the option "run as administrator"!!

I'm just trying to tell galaxy that there is no perfect phone, not even his dear SGS. Qhe is just overly attached to his phone that he can't even tell right from wrong. If he insist HIS galaxy is perfect, so be it. Let him live in his own world of perfection. My point here is just to correct some extreme comments made by fanboys or haters, so that they will not make overly positive or negative comments that will mislead other consumers.

It was not the flash that made me change to Desire, but the flash was a added bonus with the Desire compared to my Galaxy S and I have realised how useful a flash really is, so if I would by a new phone today I would not buy Galaxy S, but back when I did buy it I did not know what I know today.
