hi guys ,
my galaxy s is not working with kies software.Its shows keep on connecting.
Please give a solution for this...........

Desire can play any game that Galaxy S can, and I agree that there will be improvments in the market so that more apps can be installed on the extrenal sd-card so then Galaxy S do not need all its built in memory, so time will make me able to install all the apps anyone needs/wants but no amount of time can install a flash on Galaxy S or make it easier and more comfortable for onehand use.
Geeks often talk about all the many apps they have installed but very few actually use all their installed apps and games, they only use them to show that their phone is better than all the rest, just lika IPhone4 users always talk about how many apps there is in their AppStore even though they never use or really need that many.
I have used my Desire for more than a week and I have not had any problem with it, and the built in memory is more than enough for my everyday-needs, and nothing forces me to install anything more from android market.

You managed to install a xenon flash and a 14mp camera... morek if u say galaxy is not perfect then tell me which phone is perfect.... none if cam is ur problem then don buy it....u might know that there was no led before buying it rite ? if cam was important then y did u buy that ?

now i installed num of games like hawx,nova ,shift, fifa real football, avatar, sandstrom, gangstar, winds of steel , quak 3, fishing 2 ,tennis, cricket,welcome to hell, heavy gunner, toon warz , mystique, home runner, tux rider, speed forge, sky siege and lots more than 100 games and lots of apps but still it has 1.4 gb remaining but can u say u can do all this in desire...... even if u install one game nfs shift it says less memory..... which is 100mb game.....c is u wan perfect device in all u wont find anything in this world sure.... even we r not perfect in all.....

I am not "a fan", I am just a disappointed customer. I still like Galaxy S, but without Froyo it does not live up to the expectations that the teoretical specs fooled me the expect. I read online-forums, like this, and everybody was so pleased with the phone so I desided to buy it. I had a really hard time deciding between Galaxy S and Desire. The only problem with Desire is its built in memory, that is why i bought Galaxy S, but when it disappointed me I bought Desire and I have found that although it only have 137 mb avalible to install apps, it was just enough for my everyday-needs. I installed Mobisystems Officesuite and Handycalc and CoPilot and Winds of Steel and Google Translate and Voice Recorder and Raging Thunder 2 and Robo Defense and White Noise and Spb TV and GPS Status and Periodic Table and Compass and AndroZip and LastFM and I updated Google Maps, but I still have 56.33 mb avalible of the 137 mb. I did not know that I nedded so little memory to install all these programs.

TC is just telling the rest how lacking a flash affects him and his experience with this phone. He is just stating down his truthful experience. I don't think you should bash him up for stating what he truly feels, that may help others decide if they should buy the phone or not.
Your comment, on the other hand, is misleading. Obviously SGS is not a PERFECT phone like you say. It does its jobs well, but its far from perfect. It doesn't have flash, that is already a flaw. Perfect? Not really.

great display than desire
great gpu than desire
great cpu performance than desire
weights less than desire
even great music than desire
only problem with kies and gps which is already fixed in froyo jpc rom so update will make the clean swipe of those problems..... so for simple led function u cant miss such a great features of this phone....

Most of us don not want professional quality, it is a PHONE not a camera, but without a flash its almost useless indoors in the evening and I do not want to ask if I can turn on more light in the bar/... just so that I can take a picture of my friends. A led-flash would have been so easy to add on Galaxy S and then Samsung fans would not have to have this discussion at all.

A this expensive phone should not have all these basic problems that Galaxy S does, not now 2010. Kies is the specially made software that I am supposed to use when I connect Galaxy S to my computer so it should work with no problems at all.

I liked Galaxy S teoretical specs, mostly the large built in memory, but it did not live up to my expectations, but I hope Froyo will fix that.
Desire is a much better more usable phone for everyday-use for most users while Galaxy S is a "geek" phone, just like IPhone4, where teoretical specs is everything even though it can not really do anything more than for exampel HTC Desire.

What I detest is fanboy trying to defend what they like by tweaking the truth. Truth is, LED/xenon flash is an important aspect, but fanboys like you just convinced yourself that it's not important.
This situation is very much like the iPhone without flash back then. I won't be surprised that you many of the SGS fanboy here actually bashed iPhone for not having a flash back then.
