I had SGS on trial for 10 days via o2 in London. I sent it back and bought an iPhone 4. If anyone wonders if the SGS is better than the iPhone 4 - it is not. Not even close. The iPhone 4 is so much worth the extra money it's not funny. Incidentally, the SGS drops calls like the iPhone 4 never did.
Apple were literally years ahead of the game when they released first iPhone and it still shows.
If anyone thinks the SGS and all that goes with it is better than an iPhone 4 (or 3gs) then they need to have their head examined. Simples.

Don't you have anything else to do!! If you r so keen about radio, why not buy a radio! Why buy samsung Galaxy!!

you have not mentioned what problem u r facing while installing kies in xp. did u download the latest version from samsung site.

I have iPhone 4 and I can promise you i'v had no dropping call or any other problem. Only people that are jealous at Apple complains on dropped calls because they have nothing else to complain about. And iPhone 3G and 3GS didn't have flash but people didn't complain because the phone was soo smooth with many games and apps and really good camera and build quality at that time that's why people didn't miss flash at all. But this is 2010 soon 2011 how can a phone be without flash and not as smooth as iPhone. Samsung always releases new phones that's why all their phones are half done.So do not complain about dropped calls if you do not even own the iPhone 4 which other phones tries to copy.

[deleted post]Iphone 3 and 3GS didnt have flash but still people bought it and regards it as superb.........bt wen Samsung does somthin it is foolish..........samsung is not up2 level of DROPPED CALLS rate and for u guys its always about style and no performance............When apple does mistake its always "Hurray" and "No comments" but when other brands does minute mistakes its always "Boooo"............U apple fanboys ought 2 b ashamed........ Not talkin about call drops and always talking of style or look.......
SGS is nt cheap and it will never b anything as worse as IP4

I guys i got one application that makes Google navigator beta to work for all country.... Its been frustrate for ppl in India can't use Google navigation but this brut Google navigator makes it work if any one wan this app i will send the link

to be honest, i really couldnt care if this isnt an x10 forum, the phone runs andriod, so im here to help u.If u dont want the help, then that is your problem?
Im being helpful, unlike most samsung users who go to other forums to bash phones and downrate them for no reason.
And i think the galaxy is awesome, besides it looking almost exactly the same as an iphone :x.

the phone itself is so cool. yet need help on follwoing issues
1. when i connect to laptop as mass sotrage i can show the drive on my computer but i can not access it. "please insert disk into .. drive" appears
2. i did download kies from samsungmobile.com but after installation the progam not run rather it give an error msg. it happens in vista and win7 as well.
3. if connect as pc internet with vista it goes on net automatically, but in win7 the OS doesn't even recognize the set.
please provide help on this issues.

This phone is very dissapointing, i expect this phone performance to be at least on par with Nexus One 2.1, but its not even half of that. 1 thing i like about this phone is it can play divx.
