Keers, 02 Aug 2010hi mike i am using this from a week never saw such issues a... moreI've installed lets say 15 apps from android market, took 29 photos, and as soon as i developed them in walgreens i formated my SD card, and now i only have 5 videos on it,each video 5 min. long
That's about it,never dropped the phone, never drained the battery all the way.
I just don't get it.

at first i liked this phone, more then x10
nice design, super amoled display, lots of free aps from android store, but this phone i must say is total failure
1.battery drains so fast ( display kills the battery, and my bluetooth,wi-fi are off )
2.gps is catastrophe ( even though it has free voice navigate system it might take up to 15 min.to grab a satellite signal, and it loses signal very often, plus the bigger problem is,it's not even accurate,
3.when i click on my gallery to review my photos,it takes 30 sec. to display my album
4.during texting when i rotate my phone,my keyboard still stays in landscape mode or other way around for like 5 sec.
        5.phone lags too much

this phone is nowhere near to i-phone even though i hate apple. even x10 works better and faster.

i can't believe i spend so much money on failure like this. and even with new 2.2 froyo software i don't think they'll be able to fix so many issues.

I've seen a lot of 720P videos of the samsung beam, most of them retain a good good smooth frame with no dropped frames & hardly any noise artifacts visible.

However I have seen the 720P videos in daylight scenery & low light with/without flash & I can not understand that the Samsung BEAM seems to dissapoint with 720P video. The frames & noise is there, the 8Mp camera says nothing about the different CCD image sensor or lens employed in the BEAM in comparison with the Wave & the Galaxy S. The BEAM is supposed to set the standards especially with 720P video recording especially because its a multimedia device.

This is something that the multimedia enthusiasts such as myself rely on & will agree on could go bad for SAMSUNG if the UK version doesn't have improved video rec/playback. Maybe the 720Mhz CPU is the cause, but I should really doubt it. Some other anomoly or samsung haven't focussed on this aspect of the device very well. Being an IMAGE device as well as dedicated multimedia it should especially excel in camera performance.

Why is the standby-time of battery is much better with the Samsung I9000 Galaxy S if you compare it with Galaxy S M110S Galaxy S, they have same battery, Why?

If it is released you'll have to activate it in the menu. Just wait a little longer; 2.2 should roll out in september.
