Hi,im planning to pick up this phone and about to sell my iphone 2G...my concern is - how is the audio quality via headphones...is it as good as iphone's quality? better than that or a lil lower as my only use in SGS will be mainly Videos...otherwise radio and music :)
please help...preferebly somebody who owns teh phone..other feedback welcome :)

They have almost same specs. On Wave you got a flash for photos. On SGS, you got a bigger screen with a more "customisable" OS i would say due to Bada's youth currently.
I've seen people among comments saying SGS is too much complicated for them, i guess they don't belong to smartphone world and all they need is a simpler phone or an iphone at max.

I'm planning on buying either this phone or the Samsung Wave but I'm still facing difficulties in my decision.
Which one should I buy ? Wave or Galaxy S?
Galaxy has android os whereas wave's got samsung's bada. I think the choice of an android phone would be better but I'm still not sure.
Any opinions please?

Anonymous, 01 Aug 2010If u r only interested in N8 y nt scram.........the N8 is good on paper, but it still uses symbian, therefore its a big waste of time. If it used android, then I would say its a decent phone. Using symbian 3 on a phone such as the n8 is just crazy, it wont allow you to use the phone to its full potential, its not expandable and you cant customize it the way you can with android. I would even prefer IOS4 over symbian and i hate apple lol. Just distched my sony erricson vivaz for the Galaxy and have not looked back since!

Anonymous, 01 Aug 2010samsung galaxy s or nokia c5? Nokia C5 is a good phone for its size, but definitely get the samsung galaxy. Its like someone offering you a new ford focus and a new ferarri. Both good but you know which one to choose.

after using it for 2 weeks, all the gajet are working very well ,,,, just notice today my SGS sent sms to other people eventhough i double confirm to who i sent...hope someone will help me ....

I found class 10 can get 270kbs while class 12 560kbs..with respect to kbs pls answer....
Also Indian networks wat is the maximum data rate??Bcoz if the service providers cant go that hi no use buyin a mobile that could provide speed.......

dont buy samsung galaxy s. it is so cheap it has only class 12 but nokia n8 has a class 33 it is so fast

Samsung just re-designed Iphone 3GS and add in a little more goodies and call it Galaxy S.
No innovation at all.
N8 is way ahead of Galaxy S.
We are only interested in N8.

I havent used GPS or any smartphones.I need to know some things.Please tell me SGS users......Can GPS work without net?Can google map be loaded in2 the set and used to navigate?GPS without GPRS possible?Is it worth waiting for Galaxy Q(as Anup asked)?or should I go 4 this one?

Hi SGS users.....I was sure of takin this mobile wen the news of Galaxy Q hit......I thought I should wait.........bt nuw I am confused........Should I wait 4 Galaxy Q?I wasnt waitin for flash or camera bt waitin because the specs say that it has optical trackpad,lesser screen size and QWERTY keypad.......wat are ur suggestions??Pls I need opinion from eveeryone........I am stil a student and wil only get in2 job bt january...........should i buy or continue waitin?

I got this phone yesterday. 2 of my friends who just got the iphone 4 found loop holes in their contracts, cancelled them, paid a fee and they got the Galaxy. I love this phone. If you ever hold the screen next to the iphone 4 screen, you will definitely see which is better. Who cares about the resolution, the Iphone just looks dull next to the galaxy.
Also little known fact: Samsung have been making all the parts for the iphone since day one. The iphone 4 is essentially a samsung with an apple logo. And the galaxy takes all those aspects and makes it ten times better in the galaxy!!

Some more hands on. This time with graphics and gaming.
If your in to gaming, then try Asphalt 4. You can download the demo version from the Android App Store for free. Then go to the Samsung App widget on your phone and there should be an update to download the full version for free!
Now graphics on the Galaxy S are superb. Asphalt 5 is like something on the original Xbox! The game runs at a very nice frame rate It also plays original Playstation 1 games using the PSX4droid Emulator which is also found on the Android app store.
