mind blowing smartphone...far better than Nokia n8 and iPhone 3gs, for high battery life one should use a 65k display mobile instead of smartphone.

Having used mobile phones since they were first invented, this phone claims the prize of being the worst ever. Atrocious battery life, unreliable connectivity, dropped calls, extremely erratic GPS, and an operating system that spends more time telling it's writers where I am and what I am doing than serving me. I will never buy an Android phone again. As for support from Samsung, non existent. And as for Kies. That manages to wreck each PC it's installed on, I don't think I've ever run it without it attempting to update something and only once has it done so and not failed! Over hyped rubbish, Android and the phone.

my samsung s charging system is bad. battery shows it's charging, but nothing comes to charge. have to use an external charger which is stressing me alot. what might be the problem?

Samsung Users,
This is the worst phone I've ever used. I've always been a Nokia user but due to the best reviews of Samsung in the market lately, I purchased Samsung Galaxy S but was a wrong decision. The battery life is really bad & am planning to sell this mobile.
Never Samsung again!

Hy mob users . . In my view plzz dnt prefer to buy Galaxy s . . The camera, network grasping,editing etc . . r very bad . . Its better to buy n8 compared to galaxy s . . And the battery power is high but unfortunately . . The android os will sux the whole battery within hours . . :)) . .

Anonymous, 19 Jun 2012After having the Galaxy S for two years now I have to say I... moremate u are very wrong, i have the i9000, and if u install only necessary apps,and clear history my battery lasts for 2 and half days with normal usage, and 1 day with heavy usage, wifi and games, i love this phone.

Mine is about a yr old and I get 3 days with web use and a reasonable amount of gaming. Or 2 and a1/2 hours when playing mc3 constantly when its on multiplayer and when using the wifi constantly for online gaming. And the tethering hotspot is a breeze....which is the same set up as all android phones....since they are all android of course. This phone actually has one of the better battery back up. Personally I think a lot of folks overcharge their batteries and damage them, just 95% charge is suitable, and much more charge damages the batterys performance and the battery.
