Iv tried Tv-out with a n95 cable n its works perfectly.
Gameloft games are great. Playstation 1 emulator will be available soon too. I hope a PSP emulator is made too.
Online gaming is great, played What The Doodle!? which is good fun n Toonwarz is a 3D FPS with deathmatch et al.

ive read a post somewhere that in UAE, android store/app is not available, do we have other option where to download games/apps?
samsung store/apps will be available right?
but android/google store has more to offer than.. :(
wanna buy this phone but that's my only problem..
does anybody knows if theres a workaround regarding this issue?

How does it perform in WiFi "N" . I'm thinking connecting to a network and streaming MKV's over it.

I'm watching 720p MKV's directly downloaded from the internet.. like [Horrible Subs] Naruto Shippuuden and Bleach.
but unfortunately it cannot read the embedded subs.
The Work around for the subs is to
1)Extract it using MKVExtractGUI
2)Convert it to SRT format using WinSubMux, rename with the same file name of the MKV but with ".SRT" extension.
3)Copy the MKV & SRT to Phone
4)Play with Meridian Media Player, Free & downloadable in the Android Market

My main problem with your advice i... moreI truly understand your love with screen ;) but personally I don't see any point to pulling up a screen contrast if auto contrast works so well (in direct sun light too).
For me it is possible to leave phone alone for so long - I got other toys like consoles or PC ;)
Seriously now, it's going to be long time when we'll see phone which won't die after all day of playing it. I can imagine Dell's Streak battery life ;) Probably if you would turn off all UI animations battery would last longer ;)
BTW, my friend wich got desire and he's got bit more than 400MB in MemTotal in droidinfo. I forgot to ask him about other sections.

My main problem with your advice is that basically you're saying "don't use it that much" - don't touch it?!?!? for 8 hours?!?! Really??? I don't want a phone I can't touch!
I will try all the powersaving features tomorrow - but what worries me is that it's got such a great screen, and you can't put the contrast up to take advantage because the battery will die...
