Samsung should release a patch to put in password check before Factory Reset is allowed, although some combination of some keys can do the same.

Galaxy S Users (and the review if you're reading this!!!)
The review said the battery lasted almost 2 days of extensive usage....
Now.. unless I'm mistaken, mine is going to be lucky to get to 10pm tonight... with very very moderate usage...
      Has anyone else experienced this?
Admittedly I've had it at full contrast with a live wallpaper running and about 30 mins music (so far) and 30 mins radio... a bit of surfing, messaging and downloading (and a few HD video clips to show people)...
      But nothing mega...

Anyone else experiencing this? I use a task manager to kill unnecessary programs too...

      Could be worrying this...

      :O/

[deleted post]Hey gloria, if we are satisfied with one phone then we are killing innovation. Its our unsatisfied hearts that motivates company to innovate new models with new specifications.. Nywz ur phone's specification is cool but lacks a projector.. Haha..

This phone is awesome in every way except for still photography. Except for the part in which it actually consumes a lot of battery when turn on wifi, runts out in an hour or two. With Task Manager, lagginess can be eliminated.

                      Hello Fongy

Can you tell us please, if you can put a direct http link on the native audio/video player like it's possible on pc with Windows Media Player, VLC, etc... to listen/watch mp3,videos like streaming and don't wait the file is completly downloaded to begin to listen/watch ?

And is the browser adjust automatically the text to the screen when you zoom ?

                      Thanks :)

I have to say in direct sunlight (I was out in it today whilst recording HD video) it is EXCELLENT!!!
                        Honest... it's unbelievable!!
As for build quality, yes it is plastic, but after about 1 minute you honestly forget, it feels great, looks great and does feel solidly built, like any phone of this type (screen-heavy) if you drop it (like the iphone) it will break!! I think I'm going to invest in a case!
My only complaint so far is that the battery is only just lasting a day, but I'm CONSTANTLY fiddling with it (watch HD videos, recording, wi-fi, radio, apps, downloading, surfing, etc.)
More on that as I try it tomorrow (regular working day!!) where I can't fiddle with it as much!!
                        :)

I really believe that the Wave is Superior to the GS in everything but the apps Android provides and thats because Bada's still young, don't you think?

thomas, 20 Jun 2010iphone wanna be, speed is ok, some issue with the software ... moreWell, after one hour of watching video (resoluton 720*416, avi, 2599kbps bitrate, 25 frames per second, 320 kbps audio, 2G, background data and wifi been off) I got 10% less battery...

Given the fact the specs for the i9000 and Wave are almost identical and the only difference is the OS (despite the UI being the same on both too). Is the only benefit of the i9000 over the Wave the App store that Android has? Bada only has a few apps so far i think. Is the Wave worth getting or shuld i wait for the i9000 for the extra Apps? Also, when is 2.2 being released for it? cheers

In a sunny weather (no clouds, 2pm, so sun high at sky) I had no problems to read from display. Actually I had no problems to f.eg. check time with my sunglasses on! It's brilliant :)
