No Flash support for the web browser : Will get it with 2.2 upgrade like all the others.
No flash for the camera : True, depends on you. Me, I don't give a damn about it.
No dedicated camera key : most of the android phones don't have.
The all-plastic body is a real fingerprint magnet : True, that the problem when you want to turn bio friendly like the N8
Feeble loudspeaker : the androids like x10, nexus and desire also have feeble loudspeaker.
Most of the things here are common to most android phones on the market, you have to understand that this is a real top of the end smartphone, not a camphone like N8, vivaz or omnia HD. So you can't expect it to have a killer cam with xenon and stereo speakers. If you care about those, get a camphone, the N8 for example.

I9000 hasn't TouchWiz 3.0 UI, it has S-Life UI

someone answer me this:
the out-of-the-box phone will not play (Adobe) Flash content but with the Froyo update it will. is this correct? yes or no.

Expansys USA listed 3G as 900/2100 and here is 900/1900/2100. Which is it? I am on AT&T want to get 900/1900/2100 so at least will have 3G in some area. Don't want to get at&t I897 cause they will load junk from AT&T on it. Phone may not be the same.

If they price this phone around 500 it may have succes but if its at the price of an iphone it will most definitly fail because iphone is more populair and smartphone nerds will go for htc or something.
I can get a htc desire for under 400 at my local phone shop.
Also knowing samsung they will probably release a phone thats better(for instance with camera flash) within no time and this will lower in price.
So I think I will buy this phone if its 500 euros more or less or ill go with either apple or htc.

does Samsung have facebook update jus like Iphone? i know that HTC have friendstream tat show ur facebook twitter and fickr update but also see tat comment its suck battery life fast too .:)

i know tat having android 2.2 firmware is good bcos of the flash 10.1 but dont forget its also suck up ur battery power even faster than u think... unless samsung uses Li-Po battery, Li-Po battery is known for his prolonged battery life...:)

to all who wonder whether it is scratch resistance that gsmarena doesnt put it as scratch resistance. I went to the roadshow to clarify, YES it is scratch-resistance, it is made from tempered glass (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toughened_glass) cheers :)

i've played with my friend's droid, i noticed something about the apps menu, when you scroll it seems choppy and not seamless. on the iphone it is super smooth, so i guess the one on the galaxy S with similar type of app menu screen where you scroll left/ right instead of up/down on regular android UI, i think it will be as smooth as the iphone.
it may be the reason why they went for that UI. and because it is mix with bada os?

I noticed the phone in Singtel shop in Singapore. I am totally impressed with the display. Totally the king of all phone screens till date.
Auto Rotate is possible in both sides. Landscape left and right.
Eclair 2.1 installed.
Camera HD recording is impressive.
No dedicated camera key and flash.
Has a 7-sided homescreen. Which is totally useful for setting up widgets in ur homescreen.
But one bad point is it looks like an iPhone copy. I dont like the 4*4 icons setup i nthe menu. Even the icons layout is same as iPhone. Samsung should do something new rather than just putting the iPhone look alike.
But i am satisfied with my X10 though Samsung Galaxy S tempted me almost 95%.
Galaxy S will be a sure hit if they price it well.
