Samsung I9000 Galaxy S - User opinions and reviews

Hello, everyone! I'm using galaxy s from about one year and it is absolutely great! but from a couple of days I have а strange problem. I leave the phone locked and it's screen is completely dark, then in a few minutes it starts to light and I am not even touching it :( Do you think it's because of some telephone setups or i should bring it to some repair? I would be very grateful to anyone who can help!

Well, this is a great phone, i have tested many roms on it and the improve is awesome, i recomend it if you ain't got more money to buy a better phone.

Krish, 17 Apr 2012hi all, I am going to buy this phone. plz tell me ur exper... moredude is this one is still available? anyway i've been using this for like 1 and half years now, works great so far... the best galaxy when it comes to the audio quality, root it and install voodoo control, you would never regret!!

I love soccer and I love Football Manager. I just checked that Android has already FM 2012. It costs $9.9. I know that Iphone with jail break could get the FM for free. Is it possible to get the FM 12 for free? Is there any possibility to "jail break" for android? Thx.

Rooting won't fix your freezing issues but a factory reset might.
Rooting a phone is beneficial in that it allows the use of certain applications such as Ad blocking and backup software as well as more advanced system tweeking software.
I prefer to use Chainfire root and I've rooted dozens of times without bricking my phone.

My phone does not seem to boot up .

1.When I reboot the phone the phone stays on the S symbol and Blanks out and won't go further does anyone know how to resolve this issue. I rebooted the phone, I took out the battery, rebooted still the same issue

I have that phone and its running on 2.3.5 and it rocks,
its the best of galaxys because its not to small or to big

I have several questions regarding the rooting the Samsung Galaxy S.
1. I heard that rooting might bring the phone totally dead. Is it right?
2. What are the advantages of rooting the phone?
3. Is it the best of way to fix my problems since after i up grade my SGS to GB, I often have problem of freeze the phone. Any other idea of fixing with out risking the phone from totally dead?
