In point no. 4 of advantages you have mentioned that there is TV-Out.

In point no. 13 of disavantages you have mentioned there is no TV-Out.

These are contradictory statments.

      Samsungdive.com web site only supports Galaxy S (I9000) and Wave (S8500) and that too for UK users.

      There is no mobile tracker support for Galaxy SL (I9003).

        ya.i.was aware that there is no led flash and it is always good to have stock games as a part of the package rather than downloading.this is my first android d and I found some features by myself (sorry if you are aware or if you think I'm childish.
        1. Was going mad on silencing the calls.just today came to know that by pressing the volume button calls can be silenced.

        2. If you slide the notification bar to your left the screen brightness reduces and sliding to the right increases it.

        Now coming to my issues.
        1. Does anyone know how to make video calls through internet using front having camera?
        2. How to set default number for a contact for messaging (not for calls)
        3. What is the use of samsung apps? Whenever I open it just shows as no updates.but my friend's samsung star has a lot of applications when opened samsung apps.

            @Bingo Led flash shouldn't be an issue,u might be well aware that the phone doesnot have led flash before buying the device.And as far as good games r concerned u can download it from good websites like umnet,its the best website for android stuff.

              @yagh the sound is good and loud enough but as far as the clearity is concerned it is slightly less than the lg optimus one and htc desire.Lg optimus one has the best high lows and sharpness.But considering the pros of gt-i9003 the sound is more than satisfactory.

                @asad the battery lasts one complete day with heavy usage.I am browsing through my mobile right now and in the morning i charged it to72% .The day was of moderate cellphone use.I am browsing the net from my phone through edge and the battery is still 49%.

                  The phone's hardware supports tv-out through the 3.5mm jack but there is no option for tv out in display menu yet.So as of now ,u can say that there is no tvout.Dont worry as the gingerbread update might add the tv-out option.

                      The difference between SL i9003 and GT i9003 are
                      1.no tv out.(sorry in my previous post instead of 478 mb ram I mentioned tv out as advantage)
                      2.4 gb memory instead of 16 gb
                      3.please check the blue tooth.not sure wether it is 2.1or 3.0

                          Just to confirm - the phone that you have got from flipkart is 'Samsung Galaxy S GT I9003' right? some confusion is going there between the names 'Samsung Galaxy S LCD I9003' and 'Samsung Galaxy S GT I9003' I think both are same... but only 4gb internal memory in Indian model.

                            I'm posting this again for new users.please correct me and help me with the issues.
                            Hi guys.got this phone on 3rd march for 19.5 k through flip kart.excellent phone.
                            Advantages are:
                            1.super clear lcd(really good and ln my opinion it's better than samoled)
                            2.android 2.2, flash 10.1 can play hd vids 720p and record too
                            3.gorilla glass (i personally confirmed)
                            4.tv out(again personally confirmed)
                            5.good processor
                            6.mobile AP.that's really cool to make your phone a wifi hot spot.but drains battery by 6-7% for every ten minutes :-(
                            7.swype is cool too:-)and superb touch screen
                            But after using it for 8 days I found some issues
                            they are:
                            1.no led flash(but still good picture quality)
                            2.contacts are jumbled and if rearrange and sync with your account it again gets jumbled as the name in the respective account.it is really annoying
                            3.if you store two phone numbers to a contact you can't set a default number for messaging.and if you add say 15 contacts with two numbers in a group, then every time you send a message to that group then you have to select each number manually.again annoying.
                            4.gps fix takes time (30 min).but if you use gps fix application it gets locked within 3 min.
                            5.cannot play songs online.have to either download or install a third party application which only helps in searching and playing english songs.
                            6.poor volume output through loud speaker and volume drops too when connected to external loud speaker.
                            7.battery lasts for only 6 hours of continuous usage (power usage)
                            8.just 4gb of memory.now that's really poor.(should have been at least 8 gb.
                            9.i don't know what samsung apps is for.please help me.when ever I open that it just shows as no new updates.
                            10.no stock games.i expected some cool games.but:-(
                            11.some times I find irritated that too many options popping out here and there.
                            12.in gmail you can just attach photos.if you wanna attach something the option just leads to the gallery.
                            13.no tv-out.

                            please correct me if I'm wrong.thank you.

                              NoBrake, 10 Mar 2011Thanks buddy.. Used GPS Fix.. Now GPS working fine. But d... more1.check wether you have good network signal for 3G and has not switched to EDGE. (check with any wifi network)
                              2.Try turning off the open videos always with HQ option.
                              3.update the flash 10.1 through android market (i did so)
                              4.kill the back ground services.
                              5.use stock internet web browser.try not using opera or other web browsers.
                              Is your youtube videos and video player running fine?
                              One problem I noticed is you can't replay a video without buffering again :-(

                                      It has internal 4 gb

                                      Divided into two parts
