I updated sl to 2.3.5 and still it is using more memory and the net speed is still low......... I am using 3g of tata docomo still net speed is about 15kbps ..........can anyone help me out of this problem????????? Soon.........1 more that is 2.3.6 is available in nagpur service centre??????????

I got the 2.3.6 update on my I 9003 phone. I found one change that applications used less memory. phone is responding much faster now. As per Wikipedia 2.3.6 version resolves voice search issue, but I am unable to see that.

Hey i got GB 2.3.5 update for my SL. it is awesome and cool UI.improved camera software.Samsung Service Center guys helped me to get new firm ware. thanks to Samsung

Hi friends. I updated my Galaxy SL firmware from 2.3.5 to 2.3.6 just an hour back. Some 3 days back only I upgraded my phone from Froyo 2.2.1 to Ginger bread 2.3.5 through kies latest version on, my laptop. Again, when I connected my phone today via kies, it prompted me to the latest upgrade 2.3.6. I'm happy with my Galaxy SL. Wow.. Its rocking.

I got my mob updated to firmware 2.3.5 to 2.3.6.
But i dont notice any change.. can any one say me wat is d change we can c after updating..

i had already been replaced my galaxy sl 1650mah battery with galaxy s2's 2000mah battery..the battery life is normally extended to 18+ hrs of my heavy use..

the battery of my galaxy SI9003 is terribly bad..it only last for 8hrs.. im not using it everytime and i am only using the very low backlight....how many hours did i need to charge it so that it will last a stadyby mode that is specified on its specs.

What do you mean by that the phone can be upgraded only through Wi-Fi.How could that happen?Don't I have to put the USB Cabel and conect it to my computer, so I can upgrade?Please tell how exactly you did the upgrade.

Hey guys,
Am unable to upgarde to GB from fryo via samsung kies 2.0. Its saying no internet is available and server may be down.I've tried with 3G an normal broadband.When i update from mobile its saying connection failed.Pls help me out buddies

This fone is awesome and more worth then u paid. But i only hate the thing that its net speed through EDGE.Maximum speed i observed is 25kb/sec which is too slow. But i its 3g net speed is amazing but every cannot afford 3g all the time. Anyone knows how to improve its net speed through edge .

I have successfully upgrade to gingerbread via Kies a few hour ago..The upgrade only can be perform through wifi and cannot used by modem usb..For now I have notice it get faster performance, the notification icon change, and support Flv video without additional player..I will explore more.. :)
