setsuka, 17 Jun 2009Guys i'm about to use i900 in the next few days..one thing ... morehey setsuka, im using the anti scratch film on my omnia too. it's working fine. but if you do find the touch screen bit bad, you can go to this website, and dl this program which will help edit your registry to improve the touchscreen. i've been using it for bout a month and comments on the website are positive as well. it's a good website with lotsa stuff on samsung phones with windows mobile / touchscreen.

Guys i'm about to use i900 in the next few days..one thing trouble still trouble my mind : is the screen scratch resistant?should i use anti scratch film on the screen,is it gonna take any effect on touch performance??Thx

ember, 17 Jun 2009is winmo 6.1 vulnerable to virus? if so, what antivirus ... moreactually i never encountered virus in my omnia even i always used it for net surfing or changing my rom every now and then but one time i tried using the eset antivirus heres the links you can try it if you want http://rapidshare.com/files/202447734/ESTAV_11.rar after installing it try to update the data base using the wifi connection of omnia...and then eset is up2date...

ember, 17 Jun 2009jin, i was able to watch the video that you mentioned and i... moreever since i bought my omnia i never tried the GPS of dis phone because in my country we dont have or shall i say the MAPS here is not that accurate and but as far i recall someone here in this forum paste the gps maps for philippines but i lost track of it...and im not into driving or locating something or or places i rather take a cab hahaha...ember thanks for the reply...

and oh yea guys, do check out i8000 omnia II, looks really good. though i think i kinda prefer the current omnia's design. omnia II looks like a htc phone. pity it doesnt have a radio though, and im just hoping they get the camera to 8mp and it'd be awesome. esp with the 3.5mm jack and improved cpu and interface =)

Jin Madera, 16 Jun 2009one more thing have you watch the video of actually i dont ... morejin, i was able to watch the video that you mentioned and it was nice, the flipping that is.
i have not yet tried it with my spb shell, but i'll try if it is featured in it.
regarding the gps, have you tried using it? does omnia has a built-in program for it or do we have to install a gps program?

guys... have u ever think this before..
right now our omnia has many brothers...
and almost all of them using winmo...
hence the developers can easier make new firmware ..? so that the old are not forgotten?

HaZ, 16 Jun 2009I just bought my omnia a few days ago & itz working well & ... moreits simple, all you have to do is either use ur Activesync to explore, and click on 'My Windows Mobile Device' or something like that, after that you'll see the 'My Storage' / 'Storage Card' folders.
Or just go to the USB Connection Mode, and select 'My Storage' or 'Storage Card' depending on where you want to move the files to, and ur omnia becomes plug n play, just like any thumbdrive / ext hdd. If you plan to import a lot of songs / movies to the omnia, using the usb connection mode way is much faster than using Activesync. Hope this helps you out.
PS: My Storage is your 8/16gb memory.

allen, 15 Jun 2009hi every1 can someone tell mi that the internal memory can ... moreyes it can be used without the software, all you have to do is to change the usb connection mode settings from activesync to Mass Storage, then select either 'My Storage' or 'Storage Card' depending on which you want.

(pls refer to pc connectivity settings on your phones user manual)

I just bought my omnia a few days ago & itz working well & i'm happy wid it.but still learning 2 use it since its my 1st fully touch screen phone. i'm jus a bit disapointed wid the battery.didnt las 2 long eventhough i didnt really use it much.only about 2 days its oredi less den half (my SE can last for 5 days after fully charged). but all in all itz a good phone.
my problem now is dat i want 2 transfer datas such as songs,pics & videos into my 16gb storage from my laptop using d cabel, but i can only transfer the datas into the small storage dat is not even 1gb.i can't transfer any videos or more than 10 songs in 1 time.
can anyone please help me?itz realy troublesome.
