Hi Users of Samsung Omnia.
I wanna buy one but first i wanted to know if it's possible to upgrade it to Windows Mobile 6.5 or should i wait for the next one to be launch with the WM 6.5.

It seams to be ok, but i have one question only for those that have it for some time: how many days in stand by and how about the gps? Does it come with I-go 2008 gps software? Is it usable, or is it there allmost like the nokia maps I have on my N95 8G? Is there an aditional cost for the gps usage?
I ve seen a comment on youtube saying that after 2 days the battery was still about 90%.
Again, the battery set is more then 1400 mah, it should be enough, is it?

okay i will stick to my winmo 6.1 for the meantime. anyway, i still have thw spbshell 3.0 installed and have spb skins so it's really great.
regarding your battery usage, i presume that you're a heavy user so your battery doesn't last that long, but in my case it lasts more than two days.
regarding the bluetooth headset, i'll try it

I personnaly think this phone is over rated. appearance also bulky & not lovely enough to carry. for me Nokia n958gb is the best in this range.

KIMI, 09 Jun 2009does this mobile support dual sim cards like D980 ??? Pl... moreno it is not possible but if need badly the dual sim try looking at the samsung china phones...they copied the omnia into dula sim with tv...try to search in you tube you will see the phone itself...

ember, 13 Jun 2009for those who have flashed their omnia with winmo6.5, pleas... moreember the only cool thing in windows 6.5 is the lock code its like iphone slide to unlock its the same features if you install the SUS (slide to unlock) anyway 6.5 has many bugs i think you have to choose for the good rom because 6.5 is STILL in BETA FORM so many unwanted bgus to encounter....if i were u use the 6.1 by the way i solve my battery problem my omnia last a DAY hehehe before it can last up to 12hrs max...but now i can enjoy my omnia and one thing try the bluetooth stereo headset its cool listening to your mp3 wirelessly and calling without touching ur omnia...gudluck ember...

during a call, there was 6 buttons down there, press "note" then "view recording toolbar".. n start record!

Is this a better alternative to N95 when in comes to internet usage? Is it easy to text while driving? I mean just to answer urgent text messages?
