After much search I settled on the Omnia 1900v out of a short list that included the iphone, Nokia 96n and Blackberry Storm. Why? All except the Omnia either lacked a features I was looking for or the specification for the feature was below that which I required. As a designer I wanted a mobile and contract that enabled me to connect to the internet freely, create and pick email, read PDFs create, read and edit Office documents, had good mobile coverage (UK) and a could take a reasonable pictures. If I could also listen to music and podcasts so much the better. After the best part of a month of use I have to say I am pretty happy with my choice. I have even found a small application that allows you to draw on the screen, great for a quick note taking or visual reference sketch. So much for the Pros what of the Cons: The screen can be hard to see in bright sunlight, not a big problem currently in the UK. The panoramic picture feature only takes lores images (ok, I agree, that may be overly demanding of a mobile phone). I haven't yet mastered the finger scrolling when searching through my Contacts and often find that I have opened a contact unintentionally. Thats about wraps it up from me. If you want to see some sample pictures taken with the Omnia visit: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sufur/sets/72157616351186628/

hi,
this is the firt time i use Samsung and i really like the style and comfort on this. i satisfied with the audio, pix editing, divx video, play games, microsoft usages, phone book editing, GPS is really works and fun to use also. those some people are not aware how to use it just read the manual user then its easy to understand it.
anyways, just explore your SAMSUNG and dont buy REPLICA...china made! its suckz...

Hi users. can anyone suggest me which one is better among HTC touch HD,X1, BB Storm9500 and Omnia i900 in respect of 1.battery life 2.Speed 3.Lots of Options so that I don't get bored 4.Camera (I like Xenon flash but HD has no flash even!!is the picture quality bad in HD compared to others?)-please use rating against every criterion with your opinion.
I prefer X1 but I am bit reluctant for the width of the phone. I prefer a phone which has a modest ratio of length and width for instance apple iphone so that I can read my docs and view my pictures more smartly. For this I prefer HD. Is there any difference in viewing the docs in different OS? I have gone through the specifications of the above mentioned 4 phone sets and it seems almost same specifics (processor, RAM mostly). I think everybody trusts practical experience more than those written specifics. another thing is I am not concerned about the prices rather quality. but if I get same quality in the two different priced phonesets for example I will go for cheap one(surely everyone does this :))
in my country the prices are:
HTC HD: US $771
X1: US $614
Omnia i900: US $528
BB Storm9500:US $542
Please suggest.

to everybody...
if you just bought omnia, u must see what rom do you use right now...
i think if it's a brand new, the phone doesn't have Newest ROM...
so u must Upgrade new ROM, hope this solve your problems
