My rom version is XBHJ1, is this old?
How can I upgrade? does upgrading make me lose my installed programs?

Omnia is Samsung,
Xperia is Sony Ericson
and well the last one is obvious
I chose the Omnia seeing as im a Nokia-Samsung fan, but also to the fact that its had the 8GB internal memory, I couldnt get the 16GB where I am but I find the Omnia to have so many more advantages over the Iphone, being honest Ive never actaully played with an Xperia or The HTC, The only HTC ive played with was the new HTC Dream and it was ok , that phone will take some getting used to,

this phone is the most hideous phone ever! the performance is terrible and ofcourse no more exceptions from Korean cheap companies doing better than this!

Got my Omnia 4 days back and... i think i could love again. Lovely little toy. I upgraded from a Nokia N73, and before that I had a brick from the early part of the 90's...
Still, I have to bad-mouth the little git a little. Software wise, suppose its okay, but the designers should have put a little more insight into the practical design. Its fine and dandy to have a phone with tv-out and all the really handy little gadgets that are boxed with it... but the Omnia has only one plug... You get to either charge or play. So if you are thinking of having a Lords of the Rings marathon DIVX style, or something equally disturbing, the battery life IS going to become a factor.

I need help with my omnia 1-the wifi is very unstable disconnects frequently and every few min 2-I sometimes cant find the files transferred through bluetooth it says received but nothing there 3-I cant efficiently use the storage of the mobile 4-the very annoying message the comes with using the camera 'not enough space please close all programs'

In an effort to find a better firmware version for my phone I found the following website.

Following the instructions on the site I entered my Version Number - JBHH1. Only to be informed "The version you entered is incorrect"
Any suggestions of what to do mow?

Is there any way to get a warning of a missed call. My old phone had a small light or led that flashed so you knew when a call had been missed. The Omnia has no such warning. You have to physically look at it each time. It's such a small thing, but it's a very annoying omission.

GG, 12 Mar 2009My Omnia is very very laggy and a lot of times doesn't sens... morei suggest you take your cell phone to the service center as i had same problem with my Htc Touch when i bought it......i took it to service center and they gave me a new phone because it was less then a week of purchasing that the problem started....i suggest you take to service center asap if nobody else is facing the same thing.

My Omnia is very very laggy and a lot of times doesn't sense my touch. I press one thing and it goes to another thing. Any help? it's VERY annoying!
