BTW... if rom is updated all "my conections" settings will be lost? Email configuration? Servers? Wifi? Internet provider settings? etc etc

I am currently using this as a second handset.
The battery life is quite poor. I need to charge it every day even though my browsing would be for max. 20 minutes, 5 minutes talk time and 5 minutes for sms.
I keep the GPRS on only for web browsing.
Can anyone share their findings on the battery as also any tips?

Hi, i bought this handphone last week. The problem here i dont know how to set up the email by using my company's account. When i set up by using my company's account then always fail to send or receive but when i connected to my notebook which connected with intenet, then the email come out suddenly..but when i set the WIFI but still fail..meaning to say only i connect it with my notebook i can send and receive the email..one more thing, when i want to take photo of course i choose "Camera" but it mention "Not enough Video Memory. Please close other application and try again" eventhough my handphone is 8G and still new..Can please answer my question..Thank you

The samsung omnia is a gr8 handset.... people who are idiots who know nothing about windows mobile should die before touching this phone....
Also stop posting on here most the people here know nothing about using this handset / fixing issues if you want help and you live in Australia all of my issues with my phone have been fixed by the OFFICIAL SAMSUNG WINDOWS MOBILE SUPPORT LINE!!! gees people... it costs you a local call for all the information you need.. sigh and guess what its not a over seas call centre unlike nokia and shit..

Can some1 tell me if this phone's keyboard and apps can go sideways and upwards if i turn my phone. I mean from portrait to landscape, or from vertical to horizontal. thx.

I wanted to buy Omnia today but when the seller told me that Samsung discovered a mistake on it I went blank. I guess I will just have to wait a bit longer for the right phone

Jason De Souza, 13 Jan 2009Sigh.... my experience on this Omnia is kinda disappointing... moreupgrade the rom!i havent had the issue for at least the last 5 roms ive installed. also ive found when i used previous roms, it has something to do with wifi, and selecting the wifi power saving option. but make sure what ever that wifi has been disconnected when the phone is not in use.
