kevin, 11 Jan 2009ok, where can i download samsung modem driver?dont believe samsung have it on their website anymore, which is a bit odd as you need it to upgrade. but you can download it at modaco, i cannot provide the link as i cannot access the site from where i am. but search google for modaco, omnia, then search modaco for samsung modem driver.

annoyed, 11 Jan 2009to the person who said the sensitivity is really bad; you c... moreyou cannot actually change the screen sensativity!! you can only adjust the motion sensor sensativity....
but you can manipulate the screen sensativity a bit, and heres how, this is basic stuff, but try it, it works.... go in to screen alignment, place the omnia on a flat surface, and using a sharp object other than the stylus (eg a sharp pencil, for example) place your eyes directly above the phone and gently tap the cross, the lighter you press the more sensative and acurate the phone will be when you use it! also bear in mind the screen sensativity also depends on what rom you are using! some of the older one have been quite poor, the recent one have been good.

Jamaican Yute, 11 Jan 2009i cant find my version on the samsung website... "WBHI2"...... morewhat country are you from? and what language do you want it in?? for example if you want english language you can download from singapore, for example.

player23, 11 Jan 2009hey omnia users.....i got the chance 2 see the new widget a... morevisit modaco, and look for omnia rom discussion and secanys thread, there you will find all the links. the rom with new widgets isnt available officially from samsung yet, could be a few weeks to a couple of months.

Kevin, 11 Jan 2009Hi, i upgraded the rom to the latest official available... moreno you should be able to upgrade from any rom to any rom. try downloading again maybe there is an issue with the file, and try and re install the samsung modem driver. if ive had any issues this usually does the trick.

Hi,
i upgraded the rom to the latest official available HJ2 for portugal.
I try to upgrade to HL3 but it takes only one second to appear "job done" and nothing happens, im doing all as descrived but maybe some roms are impossible to install in some phones/country, am i right or it makes no sense?

Hi ppl,
Im thinking of buying Omnia, so please can someone advise bout the question below in specific:
Is there any way to change the style of closing any opened application in any simpler way...as the button to close is so small to close the applications with your fingers..u wud rather minimize the screen or something..
Please also can someone temme if Nokia 5800 is a better option..

yes, i already bought it during my visit in the USA. It is an unlocked Samsung Omnia and has 24 GB memory.

Speciel Additon , 10 Jan 2009never knew that samsung omnia does have any special additio... morewell is it internal memory or did they mean with the 8gb micro sd in addition to the internal memory of 16gb?
