mat u may 1 to off u wifi or blue tooth when not using n the most important is not to let it overheat!!

omnia battery may overheat after charging take out the battery let it cool down for abt 5 mins so the phone will not continuing overheating thus the phone wont feel hot and battery life will not use up in a day.

kdx, 28 Nov 2008omnia battery life rox. it last me for about 5 days.KDX, you'd better share your secret, 5days are you for real? How much do you use your OMNIA? I spend at least an hour a day on calls, do a couple of smss. Log onto net for about an hour a day and my battery lasts 14 hours, as opposed to the 500hours Samsung advertised. I'm running SPB Mobile Shell, black theme and phone is stunning otherwise. Even with the incorrect specs, Samsung have really impressed me this time.

Yes, I have read that Symbian is preferable over Windows Mobile and I agree! WM is far from optimal, it is very slow and unfriendly to use. It also requires a lot of memmory. The very bad quality of Windows Mobile is one of the main reasons (together with the full touch screen and a no build-in stylus) that I will buy a Nokia E71. The Omnia was not the right choise for me and I think the Nokia E71 will do much better!

the only prob i have with my phone is that when the speaker phone is on i can hear my self - just like an echo.. any suggestions?

Heya, anyone knows a way around this problem?
When I get a message, the number of the contact is shown and not the name of the contact.
In order for me to see the name of the contact, instead of the number, is that I should put the international number of the person, so the name appears in the inbox. However, when I do so, if that contact calls me, the name is not shown but only the number...

So it's a great phone, but it isn't as fast as a htc ;)
There are many programs.
I won't give you any websites, just search on Google, Yahoo or wherever you want, I'm sure you'll find something.

about your question for video. Definitly not good. It's a only thing in this phone that's makes me so frustrated. Not god video rec at all, and especialy not good sound quality, better said a dissaster quality sound. Everithing other is the finest software and aplication you need, verry god speed response, beutiful design and quality....a hundred years beter then iphone. If you looking for a device vith good video rec quality all i can said is ...take N95 Nokia. Absolutely great video rec and specially sound quality, if i tell you that i was recording a rock show (Iron Maiden)and that you can hear and recognize every single word that singer was said...then...well...that is a phone for you. Belive me every single word...that's why i was frustrated with omnia when i heard a video rec for the first time...well maybe with a software upgrade?! Stay cool, hope i helped you.
