hi, i have recently brought a samsung omnia, but i cant seem to get onto the internet or have my music as a ringtone, as any1 else had that problem, or got any info....

there best way i have found to do this is to setup the bluetooth FTP. simply add the other device to your omnia's bluetooth devices and check the "OBEX File Transfer" box. then you can just access the other phone as if it were a storage card in your omnia. then just copy the files you require to a location within your omnia storage/card.
is youre sending data from your PC, set your omnia's USB to active (in the today screen settings). then when you connect to your PC with a data cable, the phone will be recognised as an external device, rather than smart syncing. it is possible to transfer data during active sync, but the transfer rate is very slow.

It simp... moremay be u got the swollen fingers. omnia together with I phone, and 5800 express music etc are all designed to type w/o using stylus. BTW, omnia has NINE input options which include keyboard (like i ph), normal keypad (can type with single thumb), paired keyboard (like ones u see on SE P1i), plus handwritten methods..

Without a built in stylus this phone is a disaster. It simply doesn't work without one. Forget trying to use fingers to type on the screen. Even a babies fingers arn't that small. Why do you think a PC keyboard is the size it is.

Whats the best gps software for this phone???, i was looking to get the google navigator, looks just great, i got the spb mobile shell and is great, i love it, makes the phone faster, and the interface looks better, whats the best website to get all this stuff??? and get it for the best price??? i wish have this phone. my dad don't want to buy me an Omnia because I've already lost 3 cellphones and 1 Sony PSP.huhu.I'm so sad.this is my only wish this Christmas but cant get it.
