      Hi, i just have a couple of queries about this phone and would appreciate any replies.

      I've never had or used a touch screen phone before and was looking for a few opinions on ease of use for typing sms? Is it very difficult not being able to actually feel the buttons? Also, is the vibration able to be turned off when typing to save battery?

      I'm tossing up between this phone and the SE C905 and really can't decide which way to go. I love the samsung but the touch screen has me a bit worried?

      Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

        I've samsung i900 afew days ago. But i seem to have alot of trouble with it. Photo viewer is so slow. It take awhile to upload the photo to view. Video play back is so slow. Alway stuck. Dont understand why. Lound speaker always has an echo. Is it the common problem with this phone. I have been using Nokia for a while now, never have these kind of problem. it is really annoying. Anyone use this phone please let me know if u have the same problem as me or just my phone?

          i recently bought a giorgio armani samsung and discovered that it is mess up. not worth the high price tag. i'm want to switch to samsung omnia first becos of the camera. pls can someone that has this phone tell me the biggest advantage it has over other phone and if it is really worth it.or maybe other suggestion.

              Hi for All,

              I'm stuck between OMNIA and XPERIA X1, what do u think, which one is better?

              In Xperia, you can install TouchFLO 3D, and U already have the Win.Mob.6.1 as like in OMNIA so in Xperia you get "3 in 1" = XPERIA Panels, Omnia's OS, and HTC Touch FLO 3D OS. I think Xperia must be better than Omnia, since it also has STOCKS and WEATHER Software.
              And also it has a QWERTY Keybord, this is my opinion.

                Handwriting recognition is the ability of the phone receive and interpret intelligible handwritten input when using a stylus. Basically, you can write more or less on the phone screen the same way as you would do on paper.

                  i got this phone and in the begining it was fun but now it so a waist i cant talk to my friends it freazes the hole time my enternet is f*ck enery thing is just bad about this phone

This is one excellent company in Irvine, CA that supplies maps to other GPS vendors like TomTom, Garmin. Now it has the all new 2009 for wm phones.

                              Anonymous, 25 Nov 2008can some one PLEASE help me! if you have a omnia. did y... moreYes and no, yes it is GPS enabled chipset and no you need to install your nav sw like TomTom or xt Garmin on sd micro or iGuidance which I have and it rocks (a bit slower to update maps than real car GPS but it works as fast in real time navigation)

                                  did your omnia originaly come with the GPS instaled?
                                  or did you have to instal it, on your own?
                                  if so where did you get it from?

                                    1. KC has a better camera
                                    2. KC can only hold a memory card up to 8 gb. The Omnia can hold ANY SDHC card whick means since there is a 16 gb card out now it can work with the Omnia.
                                    3. Omnia can hold more basic things like call records and contacts.
                                    4. Omnia has a bigger battery which means better battery life.
                                    5. I dont know about the KC but I know from personal experience the interface of the Omnia is extremely customizable and you can do so much to it.
                                    6. Omnia is a Windows mobile phone which means you get pocket office. KC doesnt have that.

                                        Anonymous, 01 Jan 19701. The Omnia does need an adapter for the headphones.
                                        2. The Touch HD is pretty much the Omnia without the three front keys. If you want a complete touchscreen then go with the HD.
