I like the specs of this phone better than the iphone.The only problem is that the 3g network is not compatible n the US and I dont know why GSMARENA is advertising that there is an american version to this model well in fact there is none .This is very misleading.

That is why I am thinking of buying a Nokia E71 (with Symbian). So I would choose for a Symbian phone, e.g. the E71. Also I am disappointed in the service of Samsung.

Very depending on the language you want to have!!! But go to the Website on Samsung > Support > download > software. Here you can download other languages. But not all.
Personally I am looking for a Chinese language. But I cannot find it on Samsung sites. Not on a Dutch site, not on an international site and also not on a Chinese site. Samsung IS NOT WILLING to help! Very bad service.

But Omnia's camera is good too, so u can buy Omnia and u'll be in line with Fashion :)

ron, 19 Nov 2008i love mine but it goes to sleep about once or twice a day ... moreI am using this phone for the last 3 months & never had this problem. However why don't u try the reset option which is at the top of the phone rather than going through the hassle of removing the battery.Hope this will mitigate yr qualms.

Miss T, 20 Nov 2008hot phoness.. compare to N96 which one is better in feature... moreWith all due respects to Nokia which made some fantastic phones 2/3 years ago,I would not recommend any N series phones. They are slow , bulky, materials used leave much to be desired and last but not the least they freeze up a lot.I owned N 80,91,93,95 & 73 & had some bad experience. Omnia on the other hand if u could get to know the functions which are plenty, would be a good choice.N96 has a slow processor & already outdated & really ugly looking.(No offence pls).

i don't know why my wifi didn't work.i hve a wire less conection and i turn my wifi on and set up a new conection,my network name appear and conneceted but i cant open any page it say cannot connect go to settings or dismiss

I have found that if you uncheck the "turn on backlight when screen tapped" box, which is found on the battery options under "battery power", the screen will not rotate using the accelerometer.
To me, this seems like a small bug in the ROM for australian omnias. If you check the box, the screens rotates perfectly. After 15 years of Nokia's, this is my first samsung and only because the omnia has windows mobile 6.1 together with an iphone comparable touch screen. It took about a week to get used to the omnia but now that I have customised it for my use, it works very well and I do not need the stylus at all. I recommend the omnia to people that want windows mobile with touch screen.....not people that want an iphone compeditor.
