dear friends those who are having problem in bettery life to short, please upgrade your rom to DXHJI, This rom is better for your bettery problem, i too had this problem in ROM DXHHI,But after upgrating to DXHJ1,this i am totally satisfied with it, the battery last for 3.5 days with normal use,,,here you will get this update,,,,,,,,,http://www.samsungmobile.com/promotion/omnia/index.jsp

i got the Omnia 10 days ago,my full report wont be right now coz it's a fully loaded phone,or lets say device,coz it's not just a phone.it's like a friend that u just knew,u've to knw it's deeper side to trully judge.but as for now
1-picture quality is amazingly perfect,too many moods of shooting, SMILE mode is intelligent,it takes pics automatically upon any smile. flash is v.good too.
2-sound quilty is v.good but when it comes to loudnees it's good enough.
3-display is good.
4-As all touch phones,it takes time to get used to it.but Omnia gives u many input methods so u can choose what u like A-full qwuety
B-keyboard (like PC)
c-letter recoginizer
D-Word recoginizer
D-Transcriber(sentence recoginizer)
5-Accelormeter is interesting
6-Outlook style is gergious
7-It's applications programs are available everywhere over the internet (any windows mobile software matces)

You can UPGRADE your phone to "DXHG4", accelerometter is fantastic and some other programs are quite better after upgrading your phone, this is link from SAMSUNG Official Website.

I find typing via a touch screen not really handy, that is one of the reasons I will buy a Nokia E71.

Ivan, 20 Nov 2008hi, i bought my Omnia here in Germany almost 4 weeks ago...... moreIvan thank u so much, your review is really good, simply u conclude some important point as a user of Omnia, and this is what I want, user must explain their phoen as uch as simple they cane, as they see the phone in real life.
So as u say Omnia has great screen resolution and good battery life, I have Nokia N95 but i want to change it because the battery life is WORST of ever!! and also web browsing in N95 is so bad and slow, so I see that usually Nokia users are transfering to Samsung mobiles!!
I have one more question to u, as u mansioned there is no bugs, I have read on some review thay say that sometimes it freezes, and this happens especially when u run 3 programs at the same time, does this happend to u?? or any freezing like that? and the speed of phone, is it faster than any nokia (p.s. N95).

Can any Omnia user explain about ... morehi, i bought my Omnia here in Germany almost 4 weeks ago... And i gotta say that i'm quite impressed by it. It has all features which i need - GPS navigation, a good 5MP camera(with flash), Windows Mobile operating system, Smart reader and so on - for more info about the features read the review at this site...
The battery life is not the best - 3 days without using the navigation, but as my last phone was Nokia N91, which had a very low battery life, i'm satisfied with it...
The quality of sound and pictures is ok, the display is good too... with the whole software, i have no problems - no bugs or something
the only annoying thing to me is the stylus pen - i cannot realise how come Samsung decided to make such a mobile phone with all the features, which it has, and couldn't find a place in the phone for the stylus pen?!?? Of course i gotta say, that the display has a really high resolution and even without a pen u can work good with the phone... But i still think that the stylus pen is the main disadvantage of this phone...
and in conclusion i can only say that if i could decide again to buy or not to buy the Omnia, i would make the same choice... This phone is really good!

Can any Omnia user explain about his/her phone, how it looks, how it works, SIMPLY WHAT A PHONE IT IS?? Because only the users can explain it better, even than some reviews!!
