nick, 18 Nov 2008both are good phones right, but the HTC touch HD screen is ... moreThnx so much Nick!

Yeah u are right, HTC Touch HD is far better in screen, both in resolution and in size.

The only thing what does Omnia is better against Touch HD it is I think it has 16 GB Internal memory and also you can use your Micro SD card, so I think this is one advantage of Omnia, but anyway also in Touch HD you can use 8 GB Micro SD which already comes with phone inside a pocket, so this is cool!

Today I have visited one mobile store and asked about the price of Omnia in my state, and it was 420 Euro, but I don't know about Touch HD, and I think most probably it must be more expensive than the Omnia, just because of Screen and some other fancy stuffs! :)

Again thnaks so much Nick :)

    Best Wishes.

NESS, 18 Nov 2008Hi to Everyone, I have a Nokia N95, and I think that it'... moreboth are good phones right, but the HTC touch HD screen is far far better. 800x480 pixels or 400x240?

      3.8 inches or 3.2?

also the HTC is just as capable on the hardware front (however does pack some video acceleration) and is a more attractive phone!

Got this today - my first thoughts....
+Music sounds better than any phone I've had
+Easy enough to use and reasonable performance for a touchscreen
-No proper stylus storage (hangs on string)
-Take battery out to remove memory card

On the Omnia, when you have runs something unless you close it properly - like the disconnecting from the internet everytime, not just exiting it - it will continue to run and eat your battery life. Also go into power and check your phone's back light turns off after 10 secs as this will also eat away at your battery. Its battery will be fine after this and a bit of reconditioning.

Just had a question about the battery life.It seems to be really poor.I fully charge it and it drains batt. life when not in use.I left it on stand-by after fully charging it and it dies in a little over 24 hrs (approx 30hrs)-complete no use.I thought it says stand by was about 500hrs.If i do use it minimally, it barely lasts.I don't know if it's just the way the phone is or if it's messed up.

As soon as i choose a video streaming player operates and starts 'connecting...' but finally a note appears that says 'server or data timeout' and never starts playing the video. I haven't said the Omnia is a bad phone, not at all! I just said I don't like Windows Mobile (6.1).
For your information I have a PDA for about 4 years now, so I think I can say I have some experience with Windows (2003).
I don't like the combination of Windows, phone and fully touch screen.

                                        Best regards, Jason.
