Gary, 26 Oct 2008I sold it after one week, lots of probleme with that phone,... morethe only problem with this phone is the user!
everyday i mention this, and ill say it again, 95% of issues are fixed with a rom update! 4% is the user just dosent know how to use it properly or understand the settings. and ok the final 1% well this is issues or problems!!

      rahmil, 27 Oct 2008Hi guys, I want to buy this phone but I need to know if it ... moregps works well, always get at least 5 sattalites (indoors) 7 outside. yes you can use you tube via streaming player, although its not great. there are now custom roms being developed, which includes flashlite 3.1. but this does require the removal of the widgets, as these were designed for earlier flashlite. the great thing about this phone is it can evolve, new roms, custom roms, apps put in, apps taken out. people are out there now trying to make the ultimate rom. exciting times for omnia owners!!! im currently using a custom rom, from paul at modaco, with quite a few changes, and optimized. check it out!!

        for me the samsung omnia looks nice but i would wonder if it works as well as they say, for i dont want it to end up like the sidekicks and other phones

          Hi guys, I want to buy this phone but I need to know if it plays youtube on it. Can flashplayer be installed and play youtbue videos?
          Do we have to take internet data plan for GPS to work?? Is GPS good or just so so ?

            have just purchased the Omnia on Ebay.com.au, and am waiting for it to arrive in the mail..yeehaa!! I was wondering if anyone knew whether it fits into an iPod Dock, one specifically made for iPod..eg..Logitech or Harman Kardon..thanks Guys

              flash player installed on phone works perfect, actually brilliant, downloaded a movie on the phone and played it on Big screen actually good quality.

                Does this phone support CDMA 800/1900 with wifi. How about the touch pad. I have seen a comment about the touch pad that it is not sensitive? Requested to reply by only users and experts.

                  I want to say ONE MORE thing to those who are in love with the typical SE X1

                  -Do you know that the extraordinary OR WHAT YOU ALL THINK unique XPanels, are in fact shortcuts, all of the WOW! Panels are accessible from the main windows panel. Its just a round move to make a costumer think that the phone is exceptional NO magic used though, nothing new or productive (in other words practical)

                  I don’t understand how other say its better than the I900, how could the stupid xpanels which are in fact shortcuts make the X1 offer more the I900 in terms of
                  -CAMERA
                  -MEMORY
                  -SCREEN SIZ -FILE FORMAT SUPPOTING
                  -WEIGHT
                  I don’t think some shortcuts with a round up marketing style is really practical, look for the main stuff NOT the out looking animation!

                  SAMSUNG I900 IS A REAL WINNER!

                      WHICH PHONE TO BUY? SEX1 OR SAMSUNG I900?

                      SURELY SAMSUNG I900
                      WHY?
                      1-Better memory,8GB-16GB
                      2-Better camera,5MP with better features
                      3-Better file supporting both in Videos,Musics
                      4-Bigger screen(By the way both X1 & I900 screens suffer under sun light,we have X1 in my country already & i used it my self,dont say cuz x1 has more pixels it should work better,BOTH SUFFERS UNDER SUN LIGHT.ITS A FACT!)
                      5-Cooler weight(122mg only)
                      6-Battery almost the same(X1-1500mAh I900-1440mAh)

                      AFTER ALL THE COMPARING,
                      A Practical person will go for the phone that has the Realistic winning points and more handy usage which is clearly the SAMSUNG I900 OMINA.

                          I tried to update my Omnia on the internet.I downloaded 158MB on my laptop and then I tried to run it to my Omnia,but I couldn't.
                          I bought my Omnia from Lebanon. Do you think it matters from which country it was bought?
                          Can u please tell me how to upgrade it in order to fix all the bugs and the motion sensor etc...???

                                        Luki, 26 Oct 2008which one is better XPERIA X1 or OMNIA I900?i actually think the xperia is probably the better phone. you get better video recording, plus four times the screen resolution, and on the x1, the screen is actually smaller! other additions include greater ram and a standard 3.5mm jack.

                                        but dont get me wrong, the omnia is a very nice phone, which has a faster proccessor.

                                        maybe everyone should wait for the HTC touch HD which seems VERY promising. the phone seems to run really quickly and the screen is to die for!
