The Cell is amazing but samsung has not provided a detail description of how to use the functions like connecting to wi-fi .. etc
they should provided complete details for new window base users.

hello ppl. i got myself an omnia abt 3 weeks ago. noticed after an overnight charge with the battery showing 100% charge n with no apps running, without making even a single call, my battery died in 5 hrs ! i wondered if anyone else had encountered this problem . any suggestions on what i can do will be appreciated. thanks.

I have used many diffrent Cell phones and this is one of the best. I can recommend this phone to any person who wants all the bells and whistles

That is why the issues subsist and people are screaming at Voda who in response to nothing other than issue empty promises about future fixes, without ever saying when.

On paper a great phone. On paper. Vodafone have ruined it with their software which crashes and creates endless problems. They are slow to fix the multiple issues that people are reporting. Why don't Samsung intervene as it surely ruins their reputation. The phone is well specced but fiddly to use and the battery is only 1000 not 1440 as detail on this site, so if you use the GPS (lucky if you can with Voda) the battery dies quickly and in the process makes the phone very hot, then it crashes.
So great phone on paper, in your hand, best look elsewhere and certainly not another Vodafone branded disaster.

Away thinking of getting another pda phone,former was an hp6365 pda,but very disappointed with it.I have not own omnia i900 yet,but seeing from so many people mention on this phone and ever others.I believe this is the right one for me.
Need to know did this touch phone come with an touch pen or manual book.thanks.

guys!!! 99% of the issues writen in this thread, are rom related!!! yes there were 'bugs' in earlier roms, but they have all been fixed. before you post negative comments, please update the rom and then see if you have anything to complain about!!!!!. btw over at modaco paul and other users are now creating custom roms!!! with apps removed and apps added, and optimized. i know this post will get lost in thread, and lazy people will not read thorugh the previous posts, and continue to leave negative comments about the phone, but hey i tried!!!!

The Editors of the site forgot to mention that Omnia supports Video recording at 120fps just like Innov8 with the 320x240 resolution.
Also it has built-in Flashlight feature.
These have been personally tried and tested by me using the latest ROM: DTHJ5

Getting used to transferring data to the device, asis the case with all other winmo, takes time to master. Music quality is above average but not the best. Camera is superb.Video play back is good.Auto rotation is working without an issue.Widgets permits u to play with the looks.I have used almost all the top notch phones of Samsung,Nokia & sony Ericson. My vote definitely goes to Samsung in general & Omnia in particular. A small piece of advise.Pls do not listen to comments, including mine. Read reviews. Talk to technically sound people.Assess yr info & then decide. There are premeditated comments floating around. Good luck to u with yr next purchase.
