Anonymous, 20 Oct 2008wot do you know bout phones sayin this is rubbish????the om... moreFFS, I'm looking to buy this phone but I can't get a straight answer as to how good it is because of kiddies lurking around on here. If you haven't got this phone don't write about how good/bad it is. This phone has a rating of 8.5/8.5/8.4 with the majority who actually own it (from the comments) saying its crap, so what's the real story?!?

i think this phone is the best in market, and it's better than htc daimound because of it's size i think when u want to use a touch screen u have to use a bigger one not as iphone but as omnia..

Hi, I'm a pretty heavy mobile user and very much rely on sending and receiving text and/or emails via these devices. I've been fortunate enough to work closely with our Telecoms man and get the benefit of testing the latest and greatest phones. I was really looking forward to testing the Omnia, but after a couple of days I'm ready to throw it out. Reviews on this phone is positive, but unfortuantely for me, I find the full keypad unusable, perhaps of my fat fingers I don't know. The navigation through programs and settings is clunky, and the signal strength is far weaker than my current phone. I hate that the stylus has not proper slot. And to top it off, the Vodafone firmware had bugs on it! Auto answer issues. One positive note, I agree that it's packed with features that I want in a phone, but there were too many issues to begin with. I apologise to Omnia fans, but it's not a phone I like and would recommend.

I bought a Samsung i900 Omnia on the 13th of October 2008. Into the 3rd day of the purchase I was already experiencing problems (long loading period + occasional freezing). VERY UNEXPECTED. I had to reset the phone about 20 times since I had received it... VERY, FRUSTRATING!!! Then on Saturday 18th October the phone just mail functioned. It was a dud. On Monday I took the phone back to MTN - Head office Port Elizabeth, after a chat with one of the consultants they wouldn’t exchange it. They offered to send it away to have repaired! I am very frustrated and disappointed that I must now wait three to four weeks to get it back after it’s been REPAIRED! I have lost TOTAL interest in this phone! First impressions last!

@2pac, you obviously didn't properly read his post or fully understand it.
He never said for one person to buy both 8 and 16gb.
