the reason why there are bugs in the phone its bcoz there are different kinds of rom in the net.....
i900DXHG4 is the most stablised rom at the moment......even the HH1 is not stable although it has more features

This phone has so many major bugs. The screen blacks out for no reason at all. Defective haptic feedback, memory error problems, screen scratches easily, poor legibility under sunlight, washed out qvga display, so-so photo quality, unresponsive touchscreen at times, practically useless front camera (no one uses video calling), no 3.5mm jack, usb does not charge battery, etc. So much for its impressive specs. Oh well.

Anonymous, 17 Sep 2008look at settings in camera mode and change where they are s... morei can only save pics from camera on storage card or my device. it will not let me select my storage. this might be because i have spb mobile shell and for some reason all data on my storage was transferred to a file called my storage 2 (which is not listed). anybody know how to fix this? help would be much appreciated. thx.

Does anyone know the video recording resolution? Normally on here they say if it's qvga or vga but nothing on this phone.

N96:
non touch screen
Symbian system
Dual ARM 9 264 MHz CPU - similar to N73 (freezes often)
Carl Zeiss optics - i dont see any better than normal 5mp cameras...its just a stupid name
2.8 inches is not really acceptable nowadays :S
i can just say that the good point about N96 is the 16M display which would be better than Omnia....but the resolution is the same (practically)

i908 is the Local product name for Taiwan and Hong Kong, therefore, i900 towards Taiwan and HK are parallel products

Omnia, 18 Sep 2008Hey friends I tried updating my phone fm site, n did as pe... morewhere did you update from?, as far as i can make out there is alot of confusion about version numbers, and its always best to wait for a specific update from your country, as far as im aware the only updates available are for singapore, malaysia, and france. and installing an update from a handset not from one of those countries is risky. although i have heard it can be done. but there are issues updating from a machine running vista, and you are advised to do the upgrade from an xp machine. i was thinking of doin the singapore update on my uk phone, but have read to many reports of peoples phones not working or not accepting the update, so i will wait until there is an official uk update, as painful as it is to wait..!! http: //www. modaco .com, paul offers a very good guide on how to do it! but it may be a samsung service center for you phone im affraid!!!
