I fully agree with you! At the moment some persons are responsible for a lot of bla bla bla.
Personally I will choose the Omnia. If anyone will choose the iPhone, fine by me.
After all it's just a phone!!!
When it will be available in The Netherlands and I have some experiences with it, I will (try to) write it here. Hopefully it will be useful to others so they can learn something or make a better decision what phone to buy . . . an Apple, Nokia, Philips, NEC, Sony, etc.

Omnia Best Mobile Ever I Used , U Know Why :
First It Comes With 5 Megapixel Camera , Then I Love Its Touchwiz Technology , And Great Optical Mouse Use .
Sound Quality Much Much Better In Headsets .... About Loudspeaker Its also Good . And Ilove Its Turn To Mute Function .
GPS Works Really Great With Me , I have No Prob With Any SMS System , For Text You Must Turn It To Landscape Mode .. To Get Good Keyboard .
I Really Proud On My Choice That i made , Coz There Is Alot Of Options There .... Its Really Hard Choose But i Got Good One ....

Been trying to decide between this phone and another for my upgrade and have asked people to say why i should go for this one
however when ever i look to see what people have said i just find a bunch of waffle about cars and whos balls are bigger than whose.
So ive decided for the moment to go for the blackberry (although i have to wait for a few days until its back in stock so my mind could still be swayed)
However if i ever want an opinion about the Iphone ill know were to look

Wow, as usual very few people have valid opinions, it just seems to be about which phone is better, where are the user reviews,all i see is iphone comparisons, we all know the specs of each phone, so we can all purchase the device we want, how about someone telling us some plus and minus points with the omnia, in a constructive way please, like it used to be many years ago.....

The key functions of a mobile phone are to make phone calls and send messages. Good to compare other features that comes along but let's be constructive in our comparison, avoid sarcastic remarks and not bash other phones. The mobile phone is just a part of our life. Do not get emotional! Cheers!

I keep reading reviews to find out more about real user experience with Omnia, and what do I get? Tons of pages with stupid comparisons with iPhone, some inteligent comments on cars,quarrels, etc. Everithing but hand-on reviews on Omnia.... People, please, stop doing this. Just write about the Omnia or don't at all.

I honestly think both phone are great but the omnia is probably more practical in terms of specs. but boy, nothing comes even close to iphone in terms of the software or the responsiveness of the touch screen.
i'm gonna have both :-)

Personally i think iPhones interface is alot more attractive.
Omnia may have more specs but i still love my iPhone! =)

Let's me get the fact right here. Nobody said that Iphone technology is made by Samsung. Samsung just supply the electronic chip to Apple to make the Iphone . Without the samsung chip, think u can have your Iphone now? So in a layman term, you are using samsung powered Iphone!
I don't think you know about the phone well. The front camera is not just for MMS. It use for 3G call. You know what is that 3G call? Well I guess that is what Iphone is lacking.
If you want to have just put on music, to make call, browsing internet you think others normal phone can't perform the task? Mind you that is properly last 2-3 years phone technology ago.
Surely Omnia user will surplus with the phone technology no matter what. If you don't care that is too bad... because you really know nothing.

The other Samsung fan said that all the iphone's technology is made by Samsung, and now you're saying something else. No wonder you guys are messed up, lol. And you tell me to take engineering classes, hahahaha. Maybe you should. Well I'm sure the omnia's UI is not that bad, but it's still not as great as the iphone. And that's a fact. Again, you can brag all day about the omnia's extra features, but so what? You end up not using those extra features anyways. Nobody uses that front camera every day. Nobody sends MMS and pay extra every day. Nobody sends files via BT every day. But people listen to their ipod, make phone calls, and browse the web every day, and that is where the iphone is the best, on features that really counts. So you can keep those extra features to yourself, I don't care =)
As an proudly Onmia owner, I do not find Omina UI bad at all. Omina phone can do more then you Iphone. That the fact!
I guess u never experience the Omnia before.
