i was told by adviser on vodafone's e forum

But it does offer more features than the iphone, only you have to be really patient because it does not always work the way it should be.

the fone is out on orange and h... moreOrange uk do not have the 8 gig yet, they only have the 16gig, which is what i have recieved two days ago from them direct.
Why there has been a lack or promotion for this phone when Samsung could have easi;y given the iphone a run for their money, i don't know.
I used to be a brand manager for Samsung, and this is out of the ordinary for them not to push the promotion of the phone.
All the people here who say you to all the people have got one that they have bugs version, or you cannot get the 16gig, are just people who cannot get one yet, they may do so in the future but want one now but cannot admit that they can't get one!

Anonymous, 22 Aug 2008If you upgrade instore or indeed anywhere anyway in the UK ... moreno ya dont if u are with a network already ie o2 and upgrade in a direct o2 store u can only return the phone if it has got a fault u can not return cos u dont like it as u would have got chance to view/play with the phone before u upgrade to it u can only return and exchange it once only if u are a new customer to that network if u upgrade over the phone or online u can return the phone due to the distant selling regulations as u havent got chance to view- play with phone by ordering over phone/online... U can call all the networks who will confirm this esp o2 voda t-mobile

Anonymous, 21 Aug 2008This phone dun have the stylus pen slot but is the pen with... more...if you have a make-up kit, the stylus blends perfectly in it. If you don't have, get a good looking lace and hang it on your neck. It looks good, believe me...

lee, 21 Aug 2008i rang vodafone this morning and they say they expect this ... moreIf you upgrade instore or indeed anywhere anyway in the UK you do get a 14 day cooling off period! Consumer rights and all that, no carrier, store, firm, corporation or any other entitie can get away from this, if they tell you they can just speak to offcom and the OFT, they will sort it for you! ( or citizens advice)!

NEWS FLASH FOR U>K PEPS:
the fone is out on orange and has been since mon 18/08 and yes u.k only has 8gb version but i have seen prices drop drasticly as 4 weeks ago i wanted this handset was around £480 and now its gone down to £380 already i can get this.. my advice to every1 is hang on a few more weeks as a lil bird told me it only cost samsung about £200 to make this..:D

i work for o2 and we dont have any info on if or when we will be getting this phone and we normally have it on our forthcoming stock sheets but nothing as yet so if we do stock it it wont be for at least another 4 weeks as we just got our september stock sheet today and this phone isnt on it

i rang vodafone this morning and they say they expect this phone on september 1st stores do normally get stock couple of days earlier but remember if u upgrade in store and u dont like the phone when u get it home u can not exchange it so i gonna wait to order online or over the phone so i have got 14 days to return under the distant sales regulation as i have heard lots of negative comments about the camera quality

Samsung tell me directly that O2 are taking it, eventually. If you don't want to wait, and nor do I , as I am with O2, if it becomes available on Vodafone on 24th as is suggested, just switch carriers.
