Dear V,
F480 is totally different from software platform. F480 mainly lacks wifi and gps. it has smaller screen comapared to omnia. Well omnia has packed with full features upto date. F480 is also compact and rich look... if u look for wi-fi or other features then omnia is best.

podge, 01 Jul 2008Hey Tony - can you please comment on the battery life?Hi Podge,
I am not the best person to comment on battery life as i am quite paranoid and hate to see it plunge to 50% so will charge it very quickly.

However, here are some of my comments:
            1. i took about 50 pictures with autoflash and max size, sent 10 plus sms today and battery is at 75%. (wifi and bluetooth is switched off)

            2. the battery bar seems to out of the blue just plunges from 100% to roughly 75% instead of moving gradually.

personally i thk the battery life is average but acceptable. will keep you posted.

                                    Dear Mee,
No doubt Omnia is much better than 3G iphone.. well you can compare it and you will get the results.. about the availability status it will be in July confrimed for sure in Asia and Middleeast. About the price you can check with ur local dealer. i suggest if u are in hurry and cheap with contract go ahead.. well without contract then its up to ur wallet.

i found on a review fo rthe i780 that it has sucessfully used the SDHC cards in it and GSM Arena are showing its only SD on its info for the i780 so im hoping that gsm arena are showing incomplete info and that the i900 will also take the SDHC cards but if someone could confirm this for me it would be great. thanks

AGPS uses gsm towers to calculate an approximate position, basically the first numbers in the coordinate set. It just makes pinpointing a lot faster for standard gps, it can't be used by itself
