Indeed this phone is another iPhone wannabe. Apple really does move the tech world. Anyway I'll get one to use as practice phone until I get the real thing - the iPHONE 3G!

I have read that the Omnia does have a stylus, but it is not built into the phone, so it will hand off of it... not the best but it still has it i guess.

Dan, 25 Jun 2008If you see the angle of the shot, you'll see the omnia is u... moreI didn't jump to any conclusions. I was hoping someone could tell me why this keeps happening in all 2/3 shots they have.
It doesn't make justice, does it? I don't know why they didn't notice that, it makes Omnia look so bad.
I'm trying to find some pics of it under direct light, just to see the visibility of the screen.

The iphone will be the same if it was in the Omnia position when the photo was taken. Don't jump to conclusions when your being so biased towards the iphone. The iPhone is mediocre by best.

Is this phone available in the UK and if so which network. Spoke to O2 and they said they never heard of it and won't be stocking it anytime soon!!!

is the sound quality the same as the other samsung phones which are a colabortion with Bang&Olufsen??
i hav E950 speaker very band but Sound EXCELENT better than my ipod touch!!...

Did anyone notice that Omnia's screen has extremely poor visibility under light / sunlight?
If you see the provided pics and compare it to iphone visibility, the difference is HUGE.

Information about Nokia:
Nokia prepares for the competition becoming more sharply and develops its operating system Symbian OS to an open platform.
Nokia buys the remaining shares of the British Symbian-developer company completely for 264 million euros and introduces the software in an endowment.
This should be founded together with competitors like Samsung or LG as well as the mobile suppliers AT&T and Vodafone as Nokia informed on Tuesday.

Please GSMArena make a review of the coolest phone on the market at the moment and update the phone status to Available.
About the the screen Resolution:
Its good to have High resolution (480 X 600 and above) such as the HTC Diamond... but it will drain the battery in a flash! I guess samsung balanced the resolution and power consumption...which has improved battery life compared to the Diamond.
Camera:
If you want a good camera just buy a dedicated digital camera...come on guys you cant expect a mobile phone to take family album photos or professional photos and videos!!
But one thing I guess samsung should do is release a version of the Omnia with a full qwerty keyboard just like HTC is doing for the Touch Pro!
With that we would have only three true competitors for Win Mobile phones Samsung Omnia, SE Xperia X1 and HTC Diamond/Pro.

samsung is very good at making ALMOST PERFECT phones... this odd screen resolution ruins everything ! the mouse sensitive button ruins everything ! They should have learned from i780 mistakes wich has very poor 3rd party software compatibility ... very very wrong Samsung...you could have done 2 perfect phones...but instead you do what you do best... fail because of small details but very important

My previous phone to the n95 was a samsung d900.
I don't know what it is about samsung screens but the colours and pictures look really good!

samsung still very far compare to china phones in features and performance, samsung put an analog and cable TV in your omnia maybe samsung will be the best of the best.
