65K colors ???? i give it 2 to 10 from 10 .the first important think in any screnn is the color and this is not.

YO this fone is much better than iPhone 3G
iPhone 3g or iPone is sh1t, i recommend to buy this fone. 5megapixel, touch, everything even Wi-Fi! Samsung rules!

i think this iz 1 of he best hand sets i hav ever seen iphone is nothing compared to this it has every possible thing wat an handset can hav it rox that a lot samsung ny ways when iz it releasing in singapore i am waiting 4 it

New models now already at 16KK (16 Million) colo... morethe higher the pixels the better resolution. 65K is enough. htc touch also has 65K colors, but because it has VGA and it has higher pixels than most phones out there, it provides better and more vivid display even when zooming in. believe me, i replaced my N95 with the Diamond, and the display quality of the Diamond is much more superior than the N95's. I900 should have boosted up its resolution rather than being conservative. QVGA is also kind of a turn-off. QVGA + conservative resolution = ok display, but not impressive.

putting 16M colors with this will sacrifice the battery life...
agreed, the drawback for this phone is the Windows thingy

Who ever Window mobile user keep bitching about the 65k colors. I think you should really stop using Smartphones and moves on to nokia or whatever...
65k color is limited due to Window OS, not the freaking phone!
When viewing a picture, this phone will activates the color to 262k or even 16m colors. But 65K is the default colors of the Window Mobiles.
If you want to bitch about it, go and bitch to Microsoft. Not Samsung !

In terms of versatility, iPhone is no match for this piece... This phone literally has 95% of the features of all the phone out there... I might get one of this as soon as it gets out on the market...

There's one big problem about this phone and that is that it's Windows Mobile powered. The home screen might still look pretty, but if you start to navigate around it's the same old WM surface that drove me absolutely crazy and I am especially angry about the virtual keyboard that makes writing an absolute torture, especially with a finger.
