yes. look around at all the Windows Mobile phones. even the brand new HTC Touch Diamond is stricken with the dreaded 65k color screen.
it's the most that the archaic Microsoft mobile OS can manage after all these years.
Samsung probably didn't use Symbian because Microsoft paid them more. plus Samsung might want to sell it in the States where Symbian is nowhere to be found.

I prefer X1 only because the interface looks alot better and it has a keyboard

with a 1440 mAh battery... it better have a good battery life... and i hope the interface will be as smooth as the iPhone.

I have been through 30 or 40 phones in the last 6 months like the htc diamond,iphone,htc cruise etc. This phone i believe has achieved perfection. wow,wow,wow. Good work Samsung.

if it will cost around 1000 bucks its better to buy iphone 3g
