Setsuka, 08 Jan 2010Well we got a jailbreaker here.. Anyway what's your choi... morei prefer using pwnage tool its more suitable in jailbreaking rather than the blackra1n..blackra1n only supports a tethered jailbreak. This means that once jailbroken you should not let your battery die. If it does die you will need to reconnect it to the computer and use blackra1n to boot it..btw regarding the black omnia edition i have one i've been using it for about a year now,no problems at all..its 16gb with 8gb micro sd included in the package..jin if you're worrying for your iphone's security you could try i-hound..its a application that traces your iphone once its stolen..and regarding the lock issues the previous updates already fixed it..even if they try to connect your iphone to computer it wont be accessed as long as your device is locked..

Well.. this phone is not bad as other users say... Maybe it's just not their phone of preference. It is not the right phone for them, so they claim they just spend their money for this worthless piece of shit..

Php 17K or less for a phone like this, is really worth it... Been using this for almost a year now, and this phone provides everything I need. Laggy? well maybe its just a memory management thing, there are built in utilities for this...

I recommend this phone for Techy people... or rather the OmniaII

Is this phone really as bad as users say it is? How come it seems that most of the Omnia users of last year have since moved to using the iPhone?

Does anyone know how much this sells for now in the Philippines or in Singapore?

Is the "All Black" version still in production? I'm seriously thinking of getting this phone as my first touchscreen phone...

                    Thanks!

Bought this phone in Russia - Samsung are pushing their products hard here and i picked up the Omnia i900 (called the "Witu" here) for 280 pounds (GBR). I've had it about a week - impressed. The interface is ok but i've replaced it with spb mobile shell 3.5 (far better). No complaints so far except perhaps that using the internet, sat nav and gaming tends to cain down the battery (to be expected). The camera is decent but performs worse in low light - to be expected. The other annoying thing is that you can't delete the preloaded apps the device comes with - unless you want to reinstall a new ROM which could mean destroying your phone! This is not a music phone - some decent features and players but no standard headphone jack...you need to use the adapter - not perfect. Mp3 quality is ok though and you can plug in a decent pair of headphones via the adapter. Might keep using my ipod classic for music. Storage is excellent - 8GB on mine plus upto 16GB SD. One advantage of this phone over the iphone is that it takes loads of formats (audio, video) without needed to convert.

gets slow when u receive 3 or 4 sms msgs
                              bad display quality
the battery needs to be removed n put back in sometimes when u wanna recharge or it wudn get charged
                              no official win 6.5 announcement
