question is this phone really that great? is this the beast of all dual cores? planning to buy this in december as a x.mas gift to myself
another question is it true with the problems of its wifi connectivity? i have a wifi router at home belkin.3c9a, will it have a problem, im from the Philippines by the way

Basically when you install the Go Launcher, it does change the homescreen on your GS2. All you need to do when your on the homescreen is "pinch in" on the screen and it brings up all of your homescreens (so you can see all 7). Then just add a screen or delete a screen where appropriate. You then get GoLauncher apps etc etc and you can change your widgets to Go Launchers widgets. Its wicked. Go for it. Or youtube it mate. Type in GoLauncher Android on youtube and see!

i'd like to know is it possible to navigate with the GPS without connecting to the net same as nokia or its not possible here in our s2

we like to share everything and give support to new starters
so tell us your experience as you using it, and any good apps (top apps you liked) which you find very useful, only stick with 5 please as you know there are millions out there and its good for each individual use.
gs2 is an amaizing phone, I never had any problem with wifi, works great, GPS, you might a bit right there, but still not a big issue there.
did your phone had protection case when you dropped it?

bought Gs2 after lot of searching and possibly watching all videos youtube has to offer :D
the phone is fantastic!! the camera and screen is just 2 damn gud!! the only problem with the phone is that it doesnt work with weak Wi-Fi signal.and pathetic GPS !!
my roomate have N8 and blackberry 9800, and beleive me they spend more time with my Gs2 then their own mobiles!!
but N8 is best if u want camera and gud gps!!cnt help praising NOKIA,as m a big fan of that brand!!
Battery backup is great too,only while gaming it drains too fast!!
just buy it,the tough is best the market has to offer!!
Also like to mention i drop the phone 2 times pretty badly but nothing happened!dnt know if it was luck or gud material quality!!if u have any queries i wud like to help!!just forget everything and buy this1!! :)

did you lose your home page set up when you downloaded Go Launcher?
as I said I have 7 pages of home , and everytime I downloaded it, I lost it, but when I uninstall I get it back!!

I have pre-ordered the MESH case as they didnt have it in stock so its being delivered on 24th of this month. I will try and do some movie downloading over the weekend and see what happens. With the streaming of movies/vids on your tele, you can do this via DLNA. Open the vid/movie, select "Share As" and it should give you the "All Share" app to use. This uses your wifi network and if your tele is up to date and has DLNA capability then you can do it. Go Launcher is great i think. I DID have difficulty at first and so i got rid. But after 20 mins of Youtube clips and looking what to do, i ran it again.......and now i REALLY can not put my phone down. It looks CLASS! Runs like a beast! Im sat at my desk at work now staring at it in my "work tray". God its sweeeeeeet!

If you don't wan't a case or cover that encloses the entire phone then I can highly recommend this one. It leaves all the connections uncovered and as easily accessible as they would be without the case on and it helps to protect the camera lens from being scratched when the phone is lying on it's back.

galaxy mesh case is not ran out!, I send you a link last time in amazon, you can still pick it up for as little as £6 and fits like a gloves, and give a phone a nice feel.(it doesn't protect the top and bottom, but still I love it)

regarding HD movies, the only thing I can think of would be torrent, as it has been posted below, so you just download what you like, and watch it from your default player, so if its HD, it will play HD. I just love to be able to watch movies wirelessly (streaming) into my TV from phone, but still couldn't figure out how, I asked people here , no one knows!
I am glad you are enjoying this phone, I can't put it down, its so much fun, and everyday I discover more.
Also I tried Launcher EX and to be honest couldn't adjust to it, it doesn't keep my default home pages and I lose my 7 pages from the front,
I found it hard to use it, but may be I should try more.
also I wanted to be able to switch easy from Launcher to default Launcher, and I couldn't do that either!!
your views about Launcher would be appreciated.

I would like to know how accurate/precise is this phone's GPS, compared e.g. to a HTC or other same class phone.
Besides, I would also like to receive some hands-on feedback about its WiFi sensitivity.
I am not a fan of any brand, I consider buying this phone, but, to me, those are very vital
characteristics as I often use GPS navigation programmes and Wifi connection (in rather low signal spaces).
